50 IS NOT OLD | ADDING NAVY TO A WHITE ON WHITE OUTFIT | FASHION OVER 40Woohoo! Virginia sure looks good after being gone for well over a week. I can’t even remember when it was when I left, but I bet that Joe can tell you exactly. Lol! I feel so guilty for being gone for such a long time. It is harder on the person left at home than it is on the person who is traveling. When you are home by yourself, you get lonely not having anyone to talk to, but the person going has typically things that they need to do and see. The person traveling might be more exhausted, but I’ll take exhausted over lonely any time.
50 IS NOT OLD | ADDING NAVY TO A WHITE ON WHITE OUTFIT | FASHION OVER 40There are times when I feel pulled in so many different directions that I am running around like my head is cut off. I don’t know if it is just my personality or if it is true for women in general. I try so hard to keep everyone happy, that it is stressful in the highest magnitude. Joe and the kids have things they want me to do; the blog has deadlines; my other businesses have people in them that I feel I need to support. I also feel the need to visit my parents more, and that doesn’t include all of the emails, comments, and all of the other posting that I need to be doing. Juggling has never been an activity that I could do with real balls, so I am not sure why I feel like I can do it with my life. UGH! So, I have canceled my trip to Atlanta this weekend so that I can stay home and rest. I am going to learn to say no (not my strong point) and I am going to start setting some “business” hours. Hopefully, that will give me some “Tania” time, shoot; I might even be able to watch a television show. I won’t, but maybe I could. Lol!
50 IS NOT OLD | ADDING NAVY TO A WHITE ON WHITE OUTFIT | FASHION OVER 40As soon as I saw this adorable cropped cardigan, I thought of Marie Kondo. For those who have never seen a picture of Marie Kondo, she seems to wear a cardigan like this, except her’s usually is white. I liked the unique button detailing, and everyone can use a navy cardigan. My only mistake was in ordering it too small. ? I ordered a size medium, but guess who needed a large??? This cardigan is Dry Clean Only, but some items are worth the extra hassle. As you can see from the pictures, you can wear this cardigan buttoned, unbuttoned, or partially buttoned, and they all look great. Here is the link to this cute cardigan.
50 IS NOT OLD | ADDING NAVY TO A WHITE ON WHITE OUTFIT | FASHION OVER 40The Nonie earrings have a beautiful floral pattern on tin with gold trim, and the earrings are 3.25 inches long with a vintage vibe. The bracelets are the Lelani, the Ramona, and one of the bracelets in the Stacia set. For all of my Canadian readers, you will be thrilled to hear that you can now click on the Canadian website and order Plunder jewelry!!!
50 IS NOT OLD | ADDING NAVY TO A WHITE ON WHITE OUTFIT | FASHION OVER 40White on white is the look today. I have on a plain white tank top and a pair of white dress pants. This pair of pants are a couple of years old, and I bought them from Cato Fashions. I try to buy a new pair of white dress pants every other year, if not sooner. White is a difficult color to keep clean, so once they start looking dingy, I will buy another pair. White is a perfect spring and summer color for pants; you will find all kinds of opportunities to wear them.

50 IS NOT OLD | ADDING NAVY TO A WHITE ON WHITE OUTFIT | FASHION OVER 40Canceling my trip to visit my sister was really hard, especially since I was going to attend The Monroe Book Festival with her. I live in Monroe and this bookstore is one of the favorite places that my grandchildren love to go to when they visit here from their homes in Florida! What a small world 🙂 So sorry that you had to cancel your trip here as it would have been wonderful to actually meet you in person. I love today’s outfit and although I didn’t comment on yesterday’s outfit I thought that it looked amazing on you and very slimming. I hope you have a great day!!

    1. Kelly, please go by and meet my sister. She will probably be the lady wearing black. Lol! When it comes to fashion, we are nothing alike. I like colors, and she likes black, gray, and navy.

  2. Boy, do I sympathize with you about being pulled in too many different directions all at once. It’s so hard to focus on anything when that happens. I’m trying to prioritize things. Wish me luck. Cute, Cute cardigan. The whole look is very fresh and cool. Love it. I’m sure you’re glad to be home. It’s fun to travel but getting home always feels so good.

    1. Johnna, I know that it is all of my own making, which makes it even worse. I should learn to time manage better.

  3. Your sister’s books are fun reads no matter what the age – I enjoyed the one I read and I am 72!! With the millions of pairs of earrings you have, I expected to see a pair that looked like white bows to match the sweater! The outfit looks good!

Oh my goodness ! I’m very close to Monroe GA. I have plans Saturday morning but I’m gonna really try to get over there (they have an awesome pizza place in downtown so I might have to use it to convince my husband to go along) I do wish you were going to be there too, but I understand that sometimes you just have to stop.

Tell us about the purse in your photos.

  5. Such a sharp look that you could wear anyhere! The buttons and shape make the cardigan.

    1. Janet, that is the unique details that I look for when I am shopping.

  7. White is hard to beat! You look great. Like those earrings.

    1. Thanks, Kaye! I didn’t think that I would like the earrings, but I really do.

Gorgeous outfit! How do you stay so slim? What’s your secret?

      1. Oh my goodness, I have gained soooo much weight. I have got to get my weight under control. I just know how to stand to not show lumps and bumps. Lol!
