You know how it is though, I got distracted and forgot to order CIty Lips. City Beauty must have read my mind because they reached out to me when I got home and asked if I was interested in trying any of their products. I immediately messaged my friend and asked for her honest opinion. I already knew the answer since she’s talked about City Lips for years, but I still wanted to hear it again.

I’ve tried plumping lip products before but what interested me was that this one was a long-term solution, not just an immediate result that would vanish. One of the sides of my lips is thinner than the other, so I thought this would be fun to see if I could tell the difference using this product. I’ve been using it morning and night for a couple of weeks, and I am now almost as obsessed as my friend.

I’ve never been a fan of glossy lip products because they are gooey, so I was fully expecting to feel the same about this one. I decided to give it a chance, though, and I’m so glad that I did. I’m now sure that I see a difference. The smaller side of my lips now looks almost identical to the other one. Because I like matte lipstick more than gloss, I ordered in the City Lips Matte in Pink Taupe and Rosy Mauve. The color that I am wearing here is Rosy Mauve, and it might be my favorite.
