HOW TO WEAR A BABYDOLL DRESS
Orange is not a color I normally wear, I have never been attracted to the color. I have nothing against orange. I like oranges, I like peaches, and I love beautiful sunsets, BUT I am not a huge fan of wearing orange. If it wasn’t for wanting to cheer on the Tennessee Vols, I might not have even wore this dress.
I haven’t had that much to cheer about the past few years with the Vols. They have not played like the football team I remember watching in the past. I have attended a couple UT games, and they are really rememberable. It is unreal when you go to the stadium, and hear Rocky Top sung by thousands and thousand of fans. I am not a dancer, and I have no idea how to flat foot, but you just let that song come on and I will hit the floor. WOOOO!
I wore this dress to church on Sunday, I know it is not the color of UT orange, but it was as close as had. I bought this dress years ago at Old Navy and I have NEVER even put it on. I think I tried it on, and declared it “yucky!” I am glad I didn’t return it, because I now declare it “adorable!” I am pretty sure the dress did not morph, I am really no different in size, so it must be a change in attitude. I like the babydoll look of this dress, but I might have thought it was too young looking for me before. I am glad I am taking my own advice now, Age Is Just An Attitude, And Mine Is Young!!!

I am still going to be rewarding my Plunder customers this month with a necklace to be given randomly to two different ladies. I thought you might be interested in which necklaces I am going to be giving away. One is the Sue, and one is the Back to School Special. AND, because I really love my gurls, I have decided to also include the matching earrings to both of these necklaces.
I am wearing a new necklace called the Skylar. This is a very long necklace, it adjusts from 40″ to 44″. I have doubled the necklace, and I am letting the charm dangle in the front. This would look cute with a backless dress also, dangling down the back. The charm says Grace.
I am carrying my hot pink leather Vera Bradley Ella tote. I have carried this all summer, I know you are sick of it by now. Sorry, it has just been my go to tote, PLUS it went perfect with this outfit. Who knew that pink and orange went so good together? I DID, that’s who! Remember when I wore it here?

Oh my! These pumps are pure perfection! I LOVE these shoes. I was so scared when I ordered them, I thought that I might not be able to find anything to wear with them. HAHAHA! Was I ever wrong. I have worn them multiple times, and I have even worn them once or twice that I didn’t take a picture for you. They are by Nina Shoes, and they are called Agenda. Guess what? I just looked and they are now on sale. You’re welcome. Lol!
I love this cutesy look. Joe loved this cutesy look. Haha Who knew that stepping outside your comfort zone could be so much fun? You gurls really need to try for yourself. BTW, I forgot to tell you how to place an order for the plunder jewelry. I had to call and have 5 orders fixed today because their website is pretty confusing. New software will be coming the first of next month, and it is supposed to fix all the glitches. Till then, you type www.plunderdesign.com/taniastephens in the address bar, and you should be shopping with me. Or you can go to www.plunderdesign.com and do your shopping, when you go to the checkout, you will type in my stylist number (241007) and I will get the credit. Both ways will work. Also, at the end of your checkout, there is a box that ask if there is a party. If you click on that, you can check Tania’s Party, and that would be great.
Rocky top, you’ll always be, Home Sweet Home to me. I may live in Virginia, but my blood still runs orange.

I am not a big orange fan either. Looks cute on you. Love the jewelry.
I LOVE orange. It is very dominant in my closet. My husband’s closet too. I bet you have a cute cardigan that would be stunning with this dress. Funny how we change our mind or attitude about clothing. You are amazing once again!!
Thanks Debra. It looks like I may need to incorporate more orange into my wardrobe. ?
You just might get me to wear orange too! Adorable!
???
What a cute outfit. Great colors, too!
Just looked up the Nina pumps ( which I love). Not only are they “on sale” but they are another 25% off. Woo Hoo!
Wow!!! Thanks for letting everyone know!
I don’t know what it is about orange too. I just never wear the color. I don’t even like food that is orange ether!!! Anyway, you look great in this dress. I love your blog!
I so love your style!! I think it will suit me to but to get this clothing here in South Africa is impossible, so I will have to go for the color schemes?
Tania, this dress is a knockout! I love everything about this outfit from the gorgeous necklace to the fabulous shoes. I bet this dress would look good dressed down with flat sandals too ?
Oh wow that dress looks simply brilliant on you Tania!!!
Orange and Red are very hot for this coming fall…you might like to see my post about Akris during the Fall show in Paris last March and be inspired for what’s to come – smile!

Hello Tania, I realized one thing: you are one of the few fashion bloggers who don´t hide you face behind big sunglasses. And I think this is a key thing, that makes your blog (well I don´t know exactly how to explain that …) more personal, your outfits more credible and as a whole more real than others. Hope you understood what I wanted to say 😉

I never thought about that. Maybe you are right. It is just little ole me. Haha???
