Shopping in Comfort
Let’s go shopping girls! That is, if you have any money left after Black Friday. I actually had to work Friday, so I never made one single purchase. Nada, zip, nothing. Quick, someone take my temperature, I must be sick!
This patterned pullover/sweatshirt is comfortable and cute. When I go shopping, I want to look nice, but comfort is my first priority. I don’t want to wear a lot of layers, in case I actually decide to try on something. If it is cold, I will usually throw a coat in the car, just in case, but I hardly ever wear it inside a store. I have on two simple necklaces, but before I go in a store, I sometimes will take those off as well. The less items to have to fool with, the better.
I threw the same jeans that I wore with the deer shirt back on, because they had just been washed and were hanging in my sight. The jeans are Vigoss from Maurices. I bought them when they had them on sale. The black purse is called The Sak, and it can carry a lot. I’ve had mine for years, but here is a similar one.
I finally got a different nail polish color. I went with OPI Muir on the Wall. It is dark burgundy, brown, and purple mixed.
I am gearing up for Cyber Monday. There will be plenty of sales online, and I will try to give you a heads up on some of the best ones. When you live in a small town, you get really good at finding online sales.
See you Monday! Happy shopping ladies.
Please pray for us here in Florida. We are awaiting an impact from the hurricane and possibly a direct hit of a Cat 4 storm. I am alone, so it can be a bit unnerving. I am trusting in the Divine protection of God on me, my 2 dogs and my home.
Gail
Its been fun looking through your earlier posts.
Well, you were so honest about telling us your weight and height, would you tell how many handbags you actually own? And I know, we collect them over the years . . . 🙂
I don’t know how many handbags I own. haha I’ll have to get them down one day and count. Probably around 20.
Cute….as usual!
Awww, thanks Brandye
I’m with you about comfort when I am shopping. I plan what to wear based on whether I will have to try something on. This looks like a very comfy yet put together outfit for shopping. I wear jackets or blazers as long as I can get away without a coat. It is colder here in Michigan than where you live. Happy Cyber Monday everyone!
I am sure I would wear a blazer or a jacket if I lived in Michigan. I am always cold, and run a heater under my desk even in the summer. Lol!
Cute shirt! Thanks for the polish information…I pinned on my Nails board…
I love the top – the color, the lace, everything. It doesn’t look like a sweatshirt but it does look comfy, and it fits you well. Your nails are beautiful – mine look terrible.
Have a great weekend!
that’s a super cute shirt. Great advice about leaving the coat in the car. I am also curious about your nails and whether you have them done or do them yourself.
I have my nails done, usually about every three weeks. They are my nails, but since I have very thin nails, they coat them with the gel. I don’t like tips on them, so I try to just let my own grow.
Hi Tania,
I did give you a thought tonight when I saw footage of some Black Friday sales with people actually getting into a fight!!!! Online shopping seems a far safer option !
Suzy
You look great, as always. Just out of curiosity….are your nails natural or acrylic? They always look perfect and I’m so glad to see that. Too often women take the time to dress well and forget about a manicure! I have natural nails and get a manicure every week. It’s a treat I give myself!
