You Snooze, You Lose
I know it is Saturday, but if you snooze, you lose. I am talking about the clearance sales that are going on everywhere. The stores are busy gearing up for spring, so all the merchandise they bought too much of, has to go. Now is the perfect time to buy some items at a hefty discount.
Fall and winter will come again, so it is not like you won’t get to wear your purchases. The shearling vest I have on, was on the clearance rack at Classy Closet. I know that plaid and shearling may not be in style forever, but I feel like I will be able to still wear it in the upcoming year. Besides, it is snowing today, so who knows how long it is going to stay cold. Here, here, and here are a couple different vests, if you have been wanting to try out this style. On the vest, I usually size down at least one size. I find they look better when they pull apart, instead of letting the flaps overlap.
I would recommend checking out the return policy at any of the stores. Just remember, sizes and the amount of product is limited. So, if you are interested, do not wait. I put a vest on my post the other day, and I noticed today, it is all sold out.
Shoes
Michael Kors Espadrille Wedge Sandals, these would be perfect for NOW. Why are they on clearance?
Studded Pointy-toe T-strap flats, another perfect for spring shoe. What is wrong with these people?
Cross-strap ballet flat in black or nude. Yep, will work for spring and summer.
Michael Kors pebbled leather moccasin, in the color called ballet. This is a pale pink.
Wedge suede bootie in black, charcoal, or taupe.
Michael Kors Leather Riding Boot in carmel. I think these are a timeless look.
Leopard print, calf-hair mule pump. These are fabulous!!!
Converse sneakers. These will be perfect for spring and summer, and even fall.
Tory Burch Grant Logo Sandal. I want these soooo bad. If any of you buy them, don’t tell me.
Purses
Fringe leather tote in whiskey
Dooney & Bourke Zip Zip satchel
Michael Kors signature tote
Rebecca Minkoff (micro) lexi bucket bag in baby pink
Lauren Ralph Lauren tote in vanilla
Kate Spade top zip purse in two tone gray. Very nice.
Rebecca Minkoff satchel in bleached blue. Perfect for spring and summer.Jo-Lynne Shane had a denim trend post on Friday, and these jeans hit 4 of the categories. Skinny, distressed, high-waist, and frayed hem. This is a high-waist rockstar jeans from Old Navy. I ordered these last fall, and I have worn them several times. I bought them in tall, so I have the cuff rolled twice. The burgundy booties are by Isaac Mizahari, and I bought them at the QVC outlet. Here is a similar pair.
My purse is a Aimee Kestenburg satchel. (Sorry the picture looks fuzzy) This is the first one of her purses I have bought. So far, I am really liking the size, the feel of the leather, and the weight. It seems to be really good quality, but not so heavy like some of the nicer purses I have. Here is mine in several different colors, and here is an “as is” version. I have on three bracelets that are made alike, only the wording is different. I have on faith, amazing grace, and pray. I like the bracelets, and I like them stacked.
I have on two Stella and Dot bracelets, (here, and here) and my Michael Kors watch. I took a close-up for you to see how I have the bracelets stacked. I have on my favorite (for the moment) necklace. Someone asked that I do a post of jewelry, and I am going to be working on that for the near future. Thanks for the question. It is hard to come up with new content daily, so anytime you have a post idea, please let me know.
Joe was leaving as I was taking pictures this morning. It is weird to be out on your front porch with a camera and tripod, trying to “strike” a pose, and having neighbors drive by. At least with Joe, he knows what I am doing. The neighbors probably just think I have lost my mind. Hahaha
He was hanging out the window being silly. He still makes me smile:) After almost 30 years of marriage, that is a very good thing.
So, shake the cobwebs off, wipe the sleep out of your eyes, and get your coffee. It is time to do some serious shopping. I only linked to shoes and purses today, but I plan on looking for the steals on tops and jeans later in the week. Pace yourself. Haha
The comment section is at the end of the post, so keep scrolling. I look forward to reading all the comments, they make my day.

I love your style! I’m curious what your height and weight are? What size do you usually try on? I think we may be the same size but pictures can be deceiving. Keep posting!
Wendi, I agree about pictures, the can be very deceiving. I have learned how to stand, etc. to get the best look, so I am probably bigger than you think. I am 5’6″ tall and around 150-160 at any given time. I don’t weigh myself very often and instead rely on how my clothes are fitting to gauge my weight. I normally wear a size 10 or a size large. I hope this helps.
