WINTER WHITE PANTS WITH BLACK PUMPS
Do I look thinner and healthier already? No? Well, I should because I am eating nothing but rabbit food. Lol! My supper last night consisted of carrots, cucumbers, cabbage, and some peanut sauce inside of a spring roll. My grease fed palette doesn’t quite know how to react. The food tastes fine, but it is not what I am used to. There is no cornbread, no breading, no added sugar; there is just a whole lot of vegetables.
If I am going to eat like this then I better at least be getting some benefits from this. I am shocked that Joe is only mildly protesting. He gripes and makes a few choice comments, and then he eats it. He also goes back into the kitchen when she leaves and sneaks some cheese and crackers or makes a peanut butter sandwich. Lol! With my daughter, there is no easing into anything. She is one of those people who believe in going cold turkey. And, for some reason, she decided to watch a marathon session about holiday baking. That was just torture for me, and I was only listening to the program and not watching. Tonight I bet I end up dreaming about gumdrops and sugar plums. Lol!
I told you that I was going to show you a couple of different looks with my bright pink blazer. Today I added a black top with a colorful floral print. This top also features a peplum bottom for a little interest. I am wearing a medium in this top, and the brand name is Gibson. This top came in my Trunk Club shipment, but this print is not on the website any longer. However, the bright blue one below is the same top but in a different color. This top is a hand wash and lay flat to dry variety. I prefer the throw it in the washer and then in the dryer variety myself. Lol!

Love the look. I have a pair of vanilla pants that I don’t wear often because I never feel like my shoes look right with them. The black pumps are perfect.
Tania – I love to check out your outfit of the day and I am behind and catching up. I LOVED the black velvet blazer and dress and you looked supper slim. This pink blazer looks totally different than the black one. It’s not as slimming. Is the cut different, what should we look for in a blazer to get the slimming look?
Where did you get your clutch ? I checked Kate Spade on line they did not have it. What is the style name?
I bought it a month or so ago when they were having a sale. It is probably no longer available. I have no idea the style name. Is there a way to check?
I have been trying to watch my diet (not vegan) generally I have a piece of fruit when I snack (I have been back sliding with my weakness….potato chips). Just a friendly note, you will be pooping more and your poop will probably be a different color. You might want to ask you daughter about it. It really is good for you but be sure to get enough protein.
I bet you will lose weight if you continue eating this way. Just make sure to get enough protein in your diet. Joe is s trooper. My husband doesn’t even like Meatless Mondays! You’re outfit is bright and cheerful. Thanks for showing how to style pieces in several ways.
Here is my theory. Very few women are naturally thin thin over 50(menopause). If you see a slim woman they work very hard at it either by diet, exercise or both or a extremely phyisical job. I applaud them as it takes continuous discipline or life circumstance.
I do believe that exercise and eating in moderation will keep you healthy but not exactly slim (slim is a relative term) – after a certain age.
I have found that embracing a happy medium is the healthiest long term way of dieting. I see women go up and down and that’s life.
My daughter in-law asked me – “when will I feel like a woman” and I said 40 pds. Haha.
Tania you look great- keep working it but remember it’s the holidays. Life is short.
Love your style!
Keep up the veggies- your daughter is steering you in the right direction. After reading The Alzheimer’s Solution this year, by the neurologists and nutritionists the Sherzais (see @teamsherzai) we are eating way more plant-based this year. It’s good for our brains and both of our cholesterol numbers have dropped signficantly.
