WHITE ON WHITE FOR A CLASSIC SUMMER LOOK

Friday did not turn out at all like I thought it was going to. It all started normal enough but everything started changing very early in the morning. First, I got to talk to Joe’s sister for about an hour since we hardly ever talk on the phone. When we talk it is always a talkathon. Lol! That must have set the tone for the day because I was on the phone pretty much most of the day. I didn’t even bother trying to go into work, I am normally off on Friday’s anyway, but I thought since my family is coming up next week that I would take off then. I did call in though and made sure that everyone knew what to do. Maybe they are kicking me out the door sooner than I thought. Lol! Anyway, I got to talk to two of my blog readers and they will tell you that I am a talker. Hahaha! I was probably on the phone with both of them for around an hour. I love getting to know my followers and Deborah and Lisa were so nice, I truly enjoyed talking to them. By the time that all of my chattering on the phone was finished, I looked at the time and realized that it was almost 3:00 pm and I was still in my pajamas. WHAT???? I figured “why bother” so I called Emersyn and told her that I was going swimming. She was over in a flash and we swam all afternoon. We swam under the water, did handstands, and learned how to do flips. I had a blast and I can’t wait until the rest of the grands get here on Sunday.  I have had this cute tassel top for about a month but I have never had the time to take pictures with it on. I wore it when we went to Myrtle Beach but taking pictures while I was there turned out to be a real hassle. I saw Wednesday when I was on Nordstrom that they had this top on sale so I wore it the next day to take pictures because I knew that it would sell out fast. I was too late! It is already gone. I swear, these stores must not stock very many of each top because a lot of times the top is gone already from their website by the time I buy it. Very frustrating!!! The brand of the top is Caslon and I really like this brand because it is nice, trendy, and affordable.

I have on two necklaces today, the Carla and the Christine. The Carla is the longer two strand necklace and the other is the Christine. I love how these go so well together. The beads are blues, purples, grays, and even some beige and then you have gold thrown in for good measure. You can’t see the earrings very well but they were a Plunder Posse special one month, so they are no longer available. The two magnetic bracelets are the Opal and the Hilton. I love bracelets with the magnetic closure because my fingernails make it hard to put any other type on. Do any of you have trouble with this also? Lol!!! I am loving these gold metallic mules by Sam Edelman that I bought earlier in the Spring. I bought these with some of the money from the 1,000.00 Nordstrom shopping spree that I was gifted from Rodan + Fields. I thought these looked like the perfect summer shoe and I WAS RIGHT!!! They go with everything and they slip on and off easily. I was worried about kicking them across the floor when I walked but that hasn’t happened even once. Maybe I am more graceful than I knew. Lol! White on white is a great summer look. You know that I love white pants and I will wear them all summer long. I have said this before but just in case someone missed me talking about it, let’s talk about panties. When you wear white, no matter if it is pants, shirts, shorts, or a dress, you need to wear beige or tan (this pair has no seams either) instead of white. White will shine against your skin and show through the clothing but if you wear beige it is the same color as your skin and it might look like you are going commando. ? I also added my white denim jacket today because it was raining earlier and my top was sleeveless. I hate getting wet and cold so I added the jacket. I liked the look and the warmth. Lol!
