I needed some color in my life today. Whew! It has been a crazy day or two for the blog. I am not that tech-savvy and talking to technical people about issues that I can’t describe is a challenge. Then, they have a challenge in trying to “dumb” it down for me so that I can understand. Lol! I take solace in knowing that there are probably even LESS tech-savvy people than me out there that they have to talk to. At least I would like to think that there are. The website was up, down, up, down, and then up again for the biggest part of yesterday. I just finally gave up on looking to see if it was working and did other things. This all falls under the heading of “I can’t control everything” and that drives me bonkers! I hate when I feel like I am at the mercy of someone else who doesn’t care about the outcome near as much as I do. To them, this was a job, but to me, it was my baby. Lol! All kinds of crazy thoughts went through my mind. “What if I have been hacked?” “What if everything disappears?” “What if it can’t be fixed?” “What if, what if, what if…..” Why do we automatically go to the worse case scenario when something happens? We never think, “This will make my blog faster.” “I will have better security.” “I will have something to talk about on the blog post tomorrow.” Lol!!! Color just brightens my mood and hot pink is a perfect mood brightener. The short sleeve polo top is one that I bought to wear golfing but it is great for wearing under sweaters or with jackets, etc. Just because an item is short sleeved does not mean that you have to pack it away for the winter. I added a lightweight vest over it that I bought at Belk. It is by a brand called Crown and Ivy.
I don’t have on a lot of jewelry, just a pair of earrings and a couple of bracelets. I have to have on some jewelry or I just don’t feel like I have finished dressing. It would be like leaving off the shoes to me. Lol!!! I have the Sequoia and the Kelsey on that are magnetic bracelets. I like magnetic bracelets because they are so easy to put on and take off.
White jeans are not limited to spring and summer. Here is a perfect example of wearing white in the fall and winter months. I know a lot of you still believe in not wearing white after Labor Day. I admit that it was a hard “rule” for me to get over but now I feel free! You just have to push yourself out of your comfort zone and once you get over the hump you will wonder why you ever limited yourself.
I have already placed my first order for several ladies for the newest Rodan + Fields product which is Radiant Defense Perfecting Liquid. However, I am placing another order on Saturday so you still have time to get your order in. Just message me or leave a comment if you are interested in this product. Here is the “tool” where you can try and figure out the color that will be perfect with your skin tone. Let me know what color you need and which combo you would like to order.
