WHAT TO WEAR WHEN YOU TRAVEL
It is crazy how long it takes to get back in the swing of things. I think I am still experiencing “jet lag” even though I was never on a jet. Lol! I was so tired when I got home the other day that I thought I would sleep like a rock but unless that rock is one that wakes up around 3:30 am and then can’t go back to sleep, I was rock free. Maybe the eclipse was messing with me. Haha!
I love traveling but the dogs are not doing well when we are gone. We have someone who stays at our house and takes care of the dogs but the last two times that we have gone somewhere we come home and Beckley is in terrible shape. I think he is grieving because we are gone. He was moping around when I got home and wouldn’t even take a treat from me. I finally got him to drink some water and about an hour later he finally ate a little food. When I got up the next morning he was doing better. The problem is that we have another trip coming up over Labor Day Weekend. I have been looking forward to the Pepsi Gulf Coast Jam in Panama City Beach, Florida for over a year now. If you are going to the festival or if you live in the area we need to get together while I am down there. BUT, now I am going to be worried about Beckley and wondering how he is doing. Do you gurls have any suggestions?
I wore this outfit the day I was traveling to Tennessee. Both pieces are items that I have recently worn and I thought I would mix things up and show you that this is what you should be doing also. The top is from Cato Fashions and I wore it with linen pants the last time. A white top will match almost anything so you can get plenty of wear from them. I liked this one because of the lace detail that gave it some character. My son said it looked like I was wearing a doily. Well, I can’t say that he is wrong. Lol!!!
These cute polka dot pants are new. I got them in my last stitch fix box and I love the way they fit. I always pick a comfortable pair of pants that are pull-on or very stretchy when I travel. The last thing I want is to feel like I am being cut in to by a pair of pants on a long trip. I have walked in at work on travel days and they know immediately that I am going somewhere. It must be the leggings and a sweatshirt look that I have been known to travel in. Lol! Since the blog, I have had to step up my game a notch or two. You gurls keep me on the straight and narrow.
I know you saw my lashes in that up-close picture! Oh my goodness, they are truly getting long. I told Joe on the way to Tennessee that they kept hitting my sunglasses. Haha! I have a special running right now that if you place an order as a PC (new or existing) for either the Regimen/Hydration Serum combo (with the Free Travel Kit) OR the Regimen/Lash Boost combo that is 20% off by Sunday night then I am also refunding you 15% off the PC price. This is a deal that is amazing.
You know when you put a post on FaceBook you wait to see if you will get any “likes” or “hearts?” That is how I feel about my blog. Leaving a comment and pinning a picture to Pinterest is my equivalent to a “like.” If you share my post on FaceBook that is a “heart.” Show me some love, gurls!!!
The comment section is at the end of the post, so keep scrolling. I look forward to reading all the comments, they make my day. Be sure to follow me on Pinterest, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook.

I cant speak to the cost, but there are compute apps now where you can either occasionally visit with your dog on-line (eg they can see you and hear your voice) that I believe are activated through your phone? or, there are other apps where you can record yourself on your computer, and your dog sitter can play it for them. That way they are comforted by seeing you and hearing your voice. Just a thought?
Hi, I’m sorry the dog is not happy when you leave. As our dog gets older she is the same way. She mopes around for sometimes two days after we get back. We used to have my adult son stay here with her but he’s busy and gone a lot so then we had him take her to his apartment that he shares with his girlfriend and I think that is a little better. But the best option seems to be to take her to my mother and father inlaw’s house. I think there are so many people coming and going all the time, young and older and also they have a little dog that she gets along with. She doesn’t have much time to miss us there and seems happier when we get home. So, maybe your dog needs more activity going on around to keep the loneliness away a little better.
