I don’t know about you, but the older I get, the colder I feel! I used to run hot, but now I find myself shivering even when Joe insists the thermostat is set to a perfectly reasonable temperature. As we age, our skin gets a little thinner, and our circulation slows down (oh, the joy!), making it harder to hold onto body heat. But don’t worry; I’ve found some fabulous ways to stay toasty without looking like a walking marshmallow.

Electric Heated Throw Blanket

This blanket is a total win for movie nights or just relaxing on the sofa. I love that it has different heat settings, so you can crank it up when you’re really frozen or keep it on low just to take the chill off. It is incredibly soft, and unlike the scratchy electric blankets of the past, you can hardly feel the wires inside.

  • Adjustable heat settings for personalized comfort
  • Auto-shutoff feature for peace of mind
  • Soft, plush fabric that feels luxurious
  • Machine washable and easy to care for

Plush Fleece Robe

There is nothing better than stepping out of the shower and wrapping yourself in a robe that feels like a warm hug. This one is the perfect length, long enough to keep your legs warm but not so long that you trip over it. Plus, it has POCKETS.

  • Ultra-soft material that holds in body heat
  • Two large pockets for your phone or tissues
  • Durable fabric that stays fluffy after washing
  • Elegant collar design that keeps your neck warm

Heated Shawl Wrap

Gurls, if you work at a computer or sit for long periods, you need this heated shawl in your life. It drapes perfectly over your shoulders and gives warmth exactly where you need it most. It’s much more convenient than trying to drag a full-sized blanket around the house with you.

  • portable warmth that moves with you
  • Perfect for drafty offices or reading nooks
  • Soft fabric that feels gentle on the skin
  • Easy to throw on and off as your temperature changes

Portable Space Heater

This little heater is small but mighty. My office is in the basement, and it gets COLD. A heater under the desk is the only way I can work there in winter. Love that it’s small and rotates!

  • Compact size fits anywhere
  • Heats up a small room or area very quickly
  • Safety features, including tip-over protection
  • Energy-efficient option for personal warmth

Thick Thermal Socks

They say if your feet are cold, the rest of you is cold, and I have found that to be 100% true. These socks are thick and insulating without being too bulky to fit inside boots or slippers. Plus, they have a nice cushion to them that makes walking on hardwood floors much more comfortable.

  • Superior insulation keeps feet warm all day
  • Moisture-wicking material prevents sweat
  • Soft cushioning adds comfort for sensitive feet
  • Durable reinforced heel and toe

Memory Foam Slipper

Let’s see – memory foam, fleece, slippers? Yes, please! These are so cute and comfy, and I love that they have indoor/outdoor soles. And they are a full shoes, not slides, which means they’ll stay on better. Plus, when I wear them to Walmart, I won’t look like I just rolled out of bed, even though I probably did.

  • Memory Foam
  • Indoor/Outdoor Sole
  • Fleece Sherpa Material

Lightweight Heated Vest

I was skeptical about heated clothing at first, but I’ve become a believer. My dad works outside, so I bought him a jacket last year, and he wore it constantly. This vest is great because you can layer it on top of your shirts or even under another coat.

  • Keeps your core warm to boost overall body heat
  • Slim design layers easily under coats
  • Rechargeable battery for on-the-go warmth
  • Stylish enough to wear on its own

Rechargeable Hand Warmers

These little gadgets are a lifesaver for anyone who suffers from cold hands. Pop them in your coat pockets when you walk the dog, watch the Christmas parade, or stand in line for those Black Friday sales. They are reusable, so you don’t have to keep buying those disposable packets, which saves money in the long run.

  • Provides instant heat at the touch of a button
  • Fits perfectly in pockets or gloves
  • Reusable and environmentally friendly
  • Great for outdoor events or chilly walks

There is no prize for suffering through the cold, so treat yourself to a few of these warm and cozy finds. Staying warm as we get older is all about being prepared and having the right gear to keep the chill away. Stay warm and tell me your favorite winter trick in the comments.
