WEEKENDS CALL FOR COMFY, COZY, AND CASUAL STYLES
Whew, this week has taught me several lessons when it comes to my blog. I need to have a couple of draft posts on standby for days that I am feeling puny. Also, having a few meals already prepared and in the freezer would be helpful for days when you don’t feel like cooking.
I’ve cooked comfort foods this week, and I’ll be sharing some of those recipes shortly. (when I’m feeling better) Joe had eaten his weight in my homemade chicken noodle soup and has made me make two huge batches this week. My dad’s chili (which is fabulous) and homemade vegetable beef soup were also on the menu. I threw my diet out the window for the past week, and instead just concentrated on eating something hot and comforting.
Makeup was also something else that has gotten thrown out the window this week. I’m lucky if I even put on lip balm or combed my hair. My clothing has been comfy and cozy, so I decided to share some similar outfits with you gurls. Believe me when I say that you don’t want to see me wearing any of these outfits, so I’m sharing the website’s photos instead.

Chicos and Talbots are two of my favorite stores, and both of them are having huge sales right now. Their clothing is of great quality and their styles are tailored for women our age. Here are some of my picks for these stores.

I’m hoping you feel better soon! Take care of yourself.
Hope you are well soon.
Feel better! On days you are not feeling well how about dipping into the archives?I remember your posts from when you first started when you styled Cato (are they still in business?) and I would love to see some of those old photos! Just a suggestion! My husband can’t manage his way around the kitchen & I rely on Trader Joe’s for days when I just can’t cope with cooking. I always have some of their easy dinners in my freezer. The turkey meatloaf is so much better than anything I could throw together.
Tania, hope you get to feeling better soon. The sad thing is when people are starting to get sick or get sick we always go to the big issue of the world. I love all of these outfits today, I love the leisure wear.
Hope you feel better soon. Love my comfy clothes, but I need to up my game on what I wear around the house. If someone stops by, I would be embarrassed! LOL
I hope you feel better soon!
Sorry to hear you are feeling puny, but misery does love company. I have been down with COVID this week, so I too have thrown out the makeup and stretchy pants were my friends. I am on the mend and hope you are too. I enjoy your blog. 🌸
