50 IS NOT OLD | WEARING MY PAJAMAS TO WORK | FASHION OVER 40I have a friend that is mean as a snake but in a fun loving way. He can say the most rotten things to people, and he somehow does it in a way that people love him, instead of trying to choke him. Lol! If I said some of the things that he says, I would probably be strung up by my heels, but not him. Instead of people getting mad at him, they come into our store just to talk to him. It reminds me of the restaurant called “Dick’s Last Resort.” You know when you go there that you are going to get insulted, it is part of the charm. Lol!
50 IS NOT OLD | WEARING MY PAJAMAS TO WORK | FASHION OVER 40All of that to tell you what he said to me yesterday at work. I went into the lumber company to reconcile the bank account because I had taken off all last week when my grandchildren were in town. While I was there, “he” started pestering me, asking me where I had been, etc. Then he said, “let me ask you a question.” I held my breath, waiting on what was coming next. “When you put a post on FaceBook, why is it such a large picture of your face?” I thought he was about to make an “old” crack, even though he is three months older than me. I told him that it was so that everyone could see my amazing lashes, and I batted them at him. He laughed and said that I could take a picture from across the room, and people would still be able to see them. Then, I asked him what the problem, which was my big mistake was. “Because I can see your nose hairs when the picture is that big” was his reply. I laughed at him, but as soon as he walked out of the room, I brought my picture up to see if I had visible nose hair. The rotten thing had made me paranoid, but don’t worry, my head was down, and no hairs were showing. Lol! With friends like that, who needs enemies. Haha!
50 IS NOT OLD | WEARING MY PAJAMAS TO WORK | FASHION OVER 40Okay, you read the title correctly. I wore this to work the other day, and YES, it is pajamas. Lol! I figured that since I did a Walmart post yesterday, I might should have worn this there while I had it on. I don’t know when I bought this dress/gown, but I found it in a pile of clothing that I had never worn. It is much thicker than any nightgown that I would wear, so I just assumed that it was a dress. When I checked out the tag in the neck of the dress, I had a suspicion that it was a sleepwear brand, and it WAS! Lol! This is by Carol Hochman, and I found a lot of other cute gowns that I would not have a problem wearing out in public. Who needs pockets to go to bed anyway?

50 IS NOT OLD | WEARING MY PAJAMAS TO WORK | FASHION OVER 40Adding pops of bright blue turquoise to the pink outfit made me happy. I loved how the blue jumped off the pink background, and the jewelry made all the difference in the look. It took it from, “is that a gown,” to “that is a cute dress, and look, it has pockets!” Lol! The Mabel necklace is turquoise beads of a dark knotted 60″ cord. I am wearing it doubled for today’s look. I added the natural turquoise stone bracelet name, Ernestine. I have two of these bracelets, and I like wearing them together. My earrings are an old pair, but there are tons of turquoise earrings on the Plunder website. I think that turquoise must be their favorite type of jewelry because there are tons of it in the catalogs.
50 IS NOT OLD | WEARING MY PAJAMAS TO WORK | FASHION OVER 40Do you recognize these shoes? If not, then you didn’t read my blog post yesterday. Lol! I’ll wait, go here and read it before you continue with today’s. Haha! These are by Crocs, and I love this pair. They will match anything because the color is a great neutral. They look great with shorts or a dress, and they go great with crops and a bathing suit. Just call them versatile, and you are on the right path. Here is the link to the shoes.
50 IS NOT OLD | WEARING MY PAJAMAS TO WORK | FASHION OVER 40I was getting ready for bed the other night when Joe said the sweetest words to me. No, I am not talking about, “I Love YOU,” even though he did say that. I am talking about him saying, “Go Wash Your Face!” Why was that sweet music to my ears? Because that tells me that he visibly sees the difference in my skin, he appreciates what he sees, and he wants me to continue to use my RF products. When is the last time that your husband really looked at your face and told you that you looked beautiful? I hope that you hear that all the time, but if you don’t, then it is time that we talk. Joe tells me all the time that he thinks this stuff must be a magic potion. Lol! He swears that I have aged backward in the past three years right before his eyes, while he has gotten older. I have bought the products for him, but he is stubborn and refuses to use them.
