WEARING A GRAPHIC T-SHIRT OVER 40
Before I get to the fashion part of the blog, I thought I’d take a moment for the family part. (Do y’all get sick of me talking about my crazy family? What can I say, they give me a ton of material. lol)
My sister, the author, (see her book in the sidebar!) posted on Facebook about her short-story contest for kids and I wanted to give her a shout-out. She claims she knew she wanted to be an author way back in first grade, and now she tries hard to encourage young wanna-be writers.
The contest ends September 30th, so if you know of anyone in the age range, send them to her website for details!
What I didn’t tell you is that my VERY talented sister has a new book coming out soon called Hope In The Holler. You can check it out on Amazon and even pre-order it if you want.
Yesterday I had someone tell me that they were not going to sign up for Rodan + Fields because it wasn’t their “passion.” I understand that it is not for everybody just like I might not like something that you love. But here is a question for you. If you were sitting with a friend who had a splitting headache, and you had Advil or Tylenol in your purse, would you offer it to him/her? Or would you keep the fact that you had relief tucked away in your purse a secret?
I have a purse (actually, it’s a website!) full of relief for sun damage, brown spots, dull skin, sensitive skin, fine lines and wrinkles, acne, redness, as well as lots of other issues. I can offer relief to those I know and love. So, why would I keep that a secret?
Or, what if I knew someone had a need for extra income? Money that could be used to pay for college tuition or fund kid activities? Pay off debt or plan a vacation? Fund an adoption or start your own foundation? If I had a potential solution, why wouldn’t I offer it?
I started the blog to help women feel more confident and look better through fashion and that also includes their skin. This is my goal, to help others and to reach people who can benefit from the gift that is Rodan + Fields, both in products and in business.
If you are enjoying my blog I would appreciate you signing up for my daily emails. You only get one email a day and it is just to let you know that a new post is now live. I’m going to Gulf Coast Jam this year and was trying to think what I should pack. I’m from PC and forgot about Frank Brown being a mud pit!! You look great and info was so helpful!! Thank you!!!
What color is your lipstick?
It is by Lipsense. I think it is Rosewood or Roseberry. It is something, Rose. Lol!
Can’t wait to see the leopard print ankle boots. My fingers are crossed that they fit well and feel good.
I’m so glad you show us that you can wear graphic tees even in midlife! I’ve wondered if I could still pull it off and by looking at today’s post I say “Yes I can!” lol Love the animal print shoes!!! There’s just something about animal print that elevates an outfit to the next level, even if it’s a casual outfit. I am officially addicted to R+F skincare so now I’ve got to figure out how to afford it long term. I’m probably going to email you soon with a couple of questions about becoming a consultant. I am so very thankful that you decided to become a blogger and introduce me to R+F!!! You are a blessing!!!
I love animal print also. I am afraid I will buy too much. Lol! I can see how you get addicted to R+F. When something works and makes you feel so good about yourself then you want to tell EVERYONE!
