WHAT TO WEAR WHEN YOU FEEL INVISIBLE
Thank you for commenting on Saturday’s post and for the side dish recipes. I already tried one with cucumber and tomatoes, it was delicious. I am serious when I say that I need to drop 20 pounds but I want to do it in a healthy way. I have tried low carb, vegetarian and vegan, clean eating, and a host of other diets. I loved each one and I lost weight on each one. I am looking for something that will stay with me for more than a couple of months. I want something that will become a lifestyle and not a diet.
I need inspiration, I need a challenge, I need a chef and a trainer. I can provide room and board if you are up for the job. Lol! One of my main concerns is energy. I am already on thyroid medicine and a thyroid condition can make you tired so I need my food to energize me. I am not opposed to supplements, I just don’t know what really works. Feel free to comment below what you use, why you use it, and what experiences you have had with the products.
I used to love wearing pink but it seems like here lately that I hardly ever pick this color. When I do wear pink I have noticed that I choose the brighter pinks instead of the lighter color. Maybe as I got older I thought I needed help being seen. Sometimes we feel invisible as we age but with this color, you will certainly be noticed. Lol! I just noticed that this entire outfit, except for the purse and shoes, is from Cato Fashions. I love this little cute two layered top. The only draw back is that it is spaghetti strap and it is little shorter than I really like.
The jacket is not an expensive one. I knew that this was going to be an item that I would not wear often so I didn’t see any reason to buy one that would last me for ages. I look upon trends also in this way. I will spend more money on something that I know I will wear more than one or two seasons. If it is a classic item that can be worn multiple times then I will splurge. I like nice things just like everyone else. A black, white, or navy jacket would be worth the splurge while this hot pink or bright orange might not be. It really all depends on the person doing the purchasing.
Today is the last day in July. This is the LAST day to take advantage of my Christmas in July specials with Rodan + Fields. It has been a wild month in my Rodan + Fields business! I have signed on more consultants than ever before, even signing my first consultant in Canada. I am more thrilled for these ladies than you can imagine. I love when ladies purchase products because I know that they are going to be seeing great results but I really love when they sign up as a consultant. I know that they are getting the best possible price and if they want to have additional income that all they have to do is put time and effort into the business. I love seeing them succeed even more than when I do. If you are interested in learning more then just let me know. We will set up a call and discuss what is the best option for you.
You know when you put a post on FaceBook you wait to see if you will get any “likes” or “hearts?” That is how I feel about my blog. Leaving a comment and pinning a picture to Pinterest is my equivalent to a “like.” If you share my post on FaceBook that is a “heart.” Show me some love, gurls!!!
The comment section is at the end of the post, so keep scrolling. I look forward to reading all the comments, they make my day. Be sure to follow me on Pinterest, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook.

I love to wear pink also! It is so flattering.
Hi Tania,
We’ve been on vacation with spotty wifi so I’m back home catching up on all of the emails I couldn’t pull up! Several months ago, my husband started a nutritional program (sponsored through his workplace) called Naturally Slim. After watching him drop 5 pounds EASILY in the first week, I was astounded as he’s never had much luck with diets in the past. This program is a lifestyle change, not just a “diet.” I didn’t really need to lose more than 10 pounds but after watching my husband’s success & the way he was changing how he ate, I opted to do it too & lost the 10 pounds I wanted to. This program was provided complimentary through my husband’s job & I have read online that it is pricey. However, I still highly recommend it as it changes the WAY you eat instead of changing most of the food you eat. I feel healthier now & know that I will not have a weight problem again if I follow the Naturally Slim principles when I eat. Check it out at http://www.naturallyslim.com
You look fabulous. I did the Whole 30 as a kick start and then paleo.
I should elaborate that it works because breads, pastas and rice caused bloating for me after 40. Many of gf’s found the same thing.
Tania you look marvelous in pink. Pink is and has always been my favorite color. You know like on Steel Magnolias, pink is my signature color. 🙂 Love your blog.
I follow a blogger named Tiffanie on instagram. She has hoshimotos disease. Her story is remarkable and so encouraging. According to her bio she has a health and wellness website and a B.S. degree in Food and Nutrition Science.

Hi
I purchased some Plunder jewelry in June. I loved it but my pearl necklace broke and I probably only wore it 3 or 4 times. What do I need to do to get it replaced?
Thanks
Sharon
I’ll send you a return form. They are great at customer service.
You already have a ton of advice here, so I’ll just say… those are seriously cute pants!! They might also go with a black shirt under that pink jacket — the column of color. (Or navy blue — I can’t tell what color that is)
I love the outfit, you could never be invisible Tania. Lol. I lost 50 pounds on a Hormone Reset Detox diet. Eat a pound of veggies and fruit, cooked/raw, daily. I have kept it off. Let me know if you have any questions. Have a great night.
First, let me say I love your blog! Next, the topic of “diet”. For something to work long term and become a life change, it has to fit with your life, and ideally hsve everyone in your household on board. I have been doing Keto since March, and love the way i feel. Now, in the beginning, it was HARD! Now, I do not crave the bad carbs or sugar. It is worth the time to look into. I am not sure if Keto interferes with thyroid function, so definitely check that. It is difficult, but never let the scales define who you are. I did lose the weight I wanted to lose: however, since my face got slimmer, I seem to have more wrinkles! ? It is a trade off.?
I love Weigh Down Workshop. It’s a faith based, behavior changing, lifestyle plan. Even if you don’t agree with everything the founder believes, her advice is sound and healthy. No drugs or supplements!
Beth, I loved the weigh down diet and I still to this day will say the Lord was telling me that I didn’t need that when I drop something. lol!
