HOW TO WEAR BRIGHT COLORS

What a gorgeous day we had Friday!!! The sun was shining, the birds were chirping, and it was at least 75 degrees outside. Of course, I was stuck inside working all day long but I could at least “see” out the window. It was so nice that we even opened the door of the store and let the fresh air come inside. I remember thinking at some point that this must be what it is like to live farther down south. I think I could get used to having a mild winter if it would just snow around Christmas. Lol! BTW, my tree is still up in the living room. ? ? ?I can’t help it gurl’s, I swear I am really busy. Today is Saturday and guess what I am going to be doing all day. I am going to be doing Fundraising Reports for the GFWC Virginia Woman’s Club. I have no idea what possessed me to say that I would be the State Fundraising Chairman. It must have been one of those days when I had nothing to do and nowhere to go. Actually, it was Fran that talked me into doing it. Fran is the President of the GFWC Virginia Woman’s Club and she pulled one of these moves, “Tania, you were Fundraising Chairman a couple of years ago and you did such a GREAT job that I really want you to be MY chairman again during MY Presidency.” I told her I would think about it and then respectfully declined. Well, she caught me again and said, “You were soo good at this position, I have even changed some of the duties to give you some free time, You would only have to do the workshop and the reports and they are only one time a year. I will even take care of all the presentations of winners at Convention.” Come on, how do tell someone who just jumped through hoops for you that you can’t do it. She is good, she is very very good. Haha! I need to recruit her for my Rodan and Fields business.
I have been “feeling” spring today. Actually, I have been feeling spring for a couple of weeks. The stupid groundhog didn’t know what he was talking about. Lol! I am not a fan of these “close-up” shots but this is how I let you see my earrings. They are called Nicholina. I liked the pale pink crystal drop so that is why I chose to wear this pair. I didn’t want to wear the matching necklace called the Addilyn though. I didn’t think it would show up against my blouse. The necklace with the tassel was a Plunder Posse special. I wore this necklace last year all summer, it was just perfect.  I have had this little tassel bracelet for a long time but I haven’t worn it because it just looked like a spring and summer piece. It is called the Candace. You can see the little pink tassel but you can’t see the teal and yellow vintage style keys that also dangle from it. My bling bracelets are Broederick, the Gage, and the Kylie. Notice that I didn’t have a link to the Gage bracelet. The reason is because it has already sold out. It was a special and once it is gone, it is gone. The same holds true with the Kylie so if it is something you might be interested in don’t wait until it is gone. I had to open a new party because the last one had gone over the limit. It is perfect for the fall, spring and summer. You probably could carry it in the winter also, but I really like it in the other three months. The color is such a great neutral it will go with anything and the leather and gold touches make it look expensive. Michael Kors is not a cheap brand but there are others out there that are even more expensive. I like combining expensive items and items that aren’t quite as expensive. My shoes, for example, are by Old Navy. These were not expensive at all but they are one of my favorite pair of booties. I like the color and they are really comfortable for me to wear all day long. This one and this one were my favorite Old Navy booties.

Don’t you just love this shirt? It is one of my favorites that I own. I know it is all the bright colors that really speaks to me but I also love the design. Even though there is a lot going on in this shirt it doesn’t seem overwhelming. I bought this shirt at Stein Mart back a year or so ago. It is a brand called Peck & Peck. The shirt is very sheer so I have a hot pink colored camisole underneath it. It is wild that you can’t even tell the shirt is sheer and you can’t see the camisole. I swear I have one on. Lol!
