I love fall fashion! The beautiful colors and the warm and cozy styles are some of the reasons. The yellow, orange, red, purple, green, and brown shades are rich and vibrant in the fall. Sweaters and cardigans are warm and cozy, and you see a lot of fuzzy and soft materials.
Today, I will show you two casual fall outfits that fit into the warm and cozy category. Both of these outfits are casual, but I feel like one is dressier than the other one. I like to have a dressy/casual look when I go out to greet the world. But, when I am staying home all day, I will pick a casual/casual outfit.
This Boucle pullover sweater is AWESOME!!! The sweater is warm and cozy, and the marled yarns are soft and plush. Look closely at the material, and you will see flecks of blue and camel, which gives the sweater a lot of visual interest.
The button Henley-style neck gives even more interest to the sweater. I like to leave this style un-buttoned to create a v-neck, but you can button the sweater if you choose to. The hem and sleeves have the ribbed trim I like, and the sweater has a relaxed, cling-free fit. Anything that doesn’t show lumps and bumps will get a big thumbs up from me!
Here is a view that shows you the tunic length of the sweater. The tunic length hits me a little below my hips, and I love that look. The sweater fits great, and I am wearing a medium which is the perfect size for me. The sweater is available in misses, petite, and plus sizes, plus there are lots more colors available. You are bound to find one (or two) that you have to have.
These pull-on camel corduroy pants are perfect for fall. I love the way they fit, and even though they are pull-on, they have a flat front. Sometimes a pull-on pant can pucker, but these lay flat and look polished. I was afraid they would be too short for me, but they are the perfect length. I am wearing my usual size 10, and they fit great!
The overall look of this warm and cozy outfit is perfect for fall and looks dressy enough to meet someone for lunch, run errands, or enjoy a day of sightseeing. I walked the streets of Abingdon the other day, checking out a lot of their antique shops, wearing this outfit.
Then, there are those days where I stay at home and work around the house and yard. I don’t need to look dressy on those days, but I still want to look nice. My casual stay-at-home outfit usually consists of jeans and a top because that is easy, presentable, and looks nice enough for me to go out in the yard and talk to my neighbors.
This ribbed crewneck ivory sweater is excellent for a casual day spent at home. Ribbed styles are trending this year, and this crewneck sweater fits me great. Some ribbed styles run small, and I end up having to order a large or x-large, but I’m wearing a medium in this one.
The sweater is a great fall essential item and looks great with casual as well as dressy pants. This sweater comes in several colors, and if you prefer a turtleneck, then here is that version.
These straight-leg cuffed jeans are so dang cute! I can see wearing these all spring and summer with sandals, flats, and sneakers. But, I can also see wearing these with ankle boots for an adorable fall outfit. The front features a zip closure, but the back has an elastic fit for a no-gap feature. I love the bright yellow trim on the cuff that gives the jeans a cute and unique detail. I am wearing a size 10, but I think that I might need a smaller size. I’m going to wash them in hot water to see if I can get them to shrink just a tiny bit.
Here is a great look at the yellow trim on the cuff of the jeans. If you’ve been following me for a while, then you know that I love Sperry Crest Vibe sneakers. I have a white pair that I wear all the time, and I still love the style and how easy they are to slip on. I’ve wanted this navy pair, but they sell out so fast that it has been hard to get my hands on them.
These sneakers even look cute from the back! Lol! I love the genuine rawhide laces, barrel ties, and hidden stretch gore that make these sneakers so easy to slip on. I will choose these over other sneakers because of that feature. I have found that I need to size down a half size when I order these, so be sure to consider that when ordering.
Which is your warm and cozy pick? Is it the dressy/casual look, or is it the casual/casual look?
