I wanted to start out by showing you a dress that you can wear now while it is still hot outside. This Flutter Sleeve Mini Dress has a fun print, a deep v-neckline that is flattering for almost everyone, and flutter sleeves. The description calls this a mini dress, but I don’t think it is that short. I’m 5’6″ tall, and it is only a couple of inches above my knee.

Minimalistic sandals are trending, but I’ve always loved this style. I ordered a Strappy Sandals, 2-Pack that contains a black pair and this pair in brown/tan. They fit true to size and are great to wear with shorts and dresses.

The dress is very limited in size, so I’ve found others that would work, too.

Here is another summer outfit to wear now. Because it is two pieces, you can separate them to wear them in more ways. The Square-Neck Tank Top can be worn all year long. You can wear it under a cardigan or jacket, so I never take my tank tops out of my closet.

The Black mid-Rise Skort is a wonderful alternative to shorts. It looks nicer and slightly dressier, so you could wear it to brunch, church, shopping, you name it. I wasn’t sure what size I would need, so I ordered an 8 and a 10. They both fit, but I preferred the 10 because it wasn’t as tight true the waist.

For this look, I wore the black pair of Strappy Sandals. I usually prefer wearing neutral/nude colored shoes to elongate my legs, but because these are minimalistic, they still work.

To transition this outfit into the fall, I ordered this Puff Sleeve Denim Jacket. When the weather gets cooler, I would trade out the strappy sandals for a pair of sneakers or boots and possibly add a snuggly scarf.

It will be a while before fall weather arrives, but fall fashions are already hitting the stores. The transitional period between summer and fall can easily be navigated by keeping a sweater or jacket with you at all times.

Another way to navigate this time is to choose lightweight items with long sleeves. I love this Striped Ruffle Neck Mini Dress (once again, not a mini dress); it looks crisp, clean, and chic! It has a drawstring waist that is adjustable and a ruffled neckline. I like the button cuffs on the sleeves because you can roll your sleeves up if you get hot.

This Satin Button Down Dress with Cargo Pockets is the dressiest of the four outfits. I like to have a nice dress for important occasions like dinner dates with my hubby. This color would also look great to wear to a fall wedding or event.

The dress comes with a self tie belt, but you could add one of your choice for some added personality. It has pockets which are always a plus, although I rarely put anything in them. Lol!

I have on strappy sandals, but as the weather gets cooler, I’ll be wearing close-toe shoes like slingbacks, pumps, or boots.
