50 IS NOT OLD | VINTAGE FLORAL DESIGNMaybe Joe is right, maybe I would miss not working. Today was certainly entertaining but just not in a good way. If any of you work with the public you know how there are good days and there are bad days. I can honestly say that the customers that are the hardest to deal with are women. Lol! Especially women who have a little more age on them. Oh, my goodness, I am looking at myself in the mirror. I kid you not, you can talk to older men and explain situations but older women can be downright mean!50 IS NOT OLD | VINTAGE FLORAL DESIGNWe used to have a sign that we could put up sayings on. We would use this to put sales up on and birthday messages for customers in town. The problem was that in the summer you get busy. People would call in and ask you to put a happy birthday message on the sign and there were times we would just forget. Most people would understand that it was just something we did to be nice and not something we did because we had to. We had this one person come into the store mad as can be because we had forgotten to put the birthday message up. He ranted and raved and then declared that he would be driving to the next town to do his shopping from then on. I am pretty sure that store had never put up a birthday message for him before either. Lol! We ended up taking the sign down. That goes under the category of “No good deed goes unpunished.”50 IS NOT OLD | VINTAGE FLORAL DESIGNThis little tunic/dress is too cute. I bought it because it reminded me of Plunder. Plunder is all about this vintage rose design so I had to have this. The sleeves were actually a little greener than it looks in the picture. This was bought from the same little boutique in town as the twisted hem and frayed pants I wore the other day. I loved the color palette in this tunic. She had another one of these tops but the background color was white. For some reason, I didn’t like that one near as much. This was a large but because it is the type material that is clingy I wouldn’t have cared to have gone up another size. Send Kim a message if you are interested in this top, you won’t find it on the webpage.

50 IS NOT OLD | VINTAGE FLORAL DESIGN I don’t normally don’t brag on my jewelry but I am loving everything with this outfit. The multi-strand pearl necklace is the Lottie. It was a special order item that was so popular they put it in the catalog. The longer pearl necklace is the Noah. It is a lanyard type necklace that does not come with a pendant. The Blessed pendant is what I chose to wear today on my Noah. I thought the flowers just matched my tunic. The two bracelets are the Amanda (only available in gold tone now) and the Lucinda 50 IS NOT OLD | VINTAGE FLORAL DESIGN The Evie bracelet is what I call my ladybug bracelet. Lol! I like the lumpy bumpiness on the bracelet. It is on an elastic cord of some sort so it goes on super easy. I am having a Facebook event this coming Sunday at 5:00 pm EST. This group has already been set up and my team and I are adding ladies who would like to see the jewelry a little better. I will be going live on Sunday and showing as much of the jewelry that I can in the time allotted. Seeing an item in person is so much better than looking at a picture. We have to be facebook friends so if you want to be added to the group event you will need to first send me a friend request.  50 IS NOT OLD | VINTAGE FLORAL DESIGN Isn’t this the cutest straw tote? This is one that I bought from Vera Bradley a couple of years ago. I am not a huge fan of all over print on handbags but I really like my leather bag and this subtle print from Vera.

50 IS NOT OLD | VINTAGE FLORAL DESIGN Truthfully, I am not a fan of these leggings. In fact, they will probably go into the get rid of bin as soon as they come out of the dryer. They were just uncomfortable for me, probably because they felt too small. They are a one size fits all but let me tell you, that one size needs to be smaller than me. Lol!50 IS NOT OLD | VINTAGE FLORAL DESIGNI did like that the tunic had pockets, it is a feature I really like. I want you girls to be truthful, do you like this outfit? I like parts, but not all of it. I was just wondering it is my distaste for the leggings that is clouding my judgement or if the outfit is really a dud. Rank it on a scale of 1 to 10. 1 being to throw it all away and destroy the pictures to 10 being I love this and want it for myself. 1. This outfit is a 10 and I love the leggings! I really like a lot of the boutique styles and being in my late 50s just look better to add the leggings if the tunic/dress is above my knees. Only problem for me is it gets a little warm in Texas!

  8. 10! Another spot on outfit! And love how you can pull off the pearls with it! Sooo cute!

  9. Hi Tania,
I like the outfit, especially the tunic. It is really cute. I will give it a 6. The reason is, I don’t like the legging/tunic look on myself but it looks great on you. LOL! The legging/tunic look makes me look like I have no shape and emphasizes my “spare tire”. I feel the same way about the Vera Bradley. I am not a fan of the all over print purse bags but love the prints in smaller doses. Anyway, love the colors and the story about the sign. 🙂
