TWO WEEKEND FASHIONABLE OUTFITS FOR AN EASY GOING LOOK

I hope your weekend is off to a good start! Mine will be filled with family and lots of food and fun. Is there anything better than that??? Even though my dad protested heavily, we are still going to celebrate his birthday, even if HE doesn’t show up. Lol!

I’m the firstborn, and I know I’m his favorite, but let’s not tell my sister or brother because I wouldn’t want to hurt their feelings. Lol! I had FIVE years with him before that pesky sister of mine showed up, so we have a special bond. He serenaded me as we drove to school every day when I started first grade and even bought me a pony when I was young. I’m a daddy’s girl, and I can’t wait to celebrate his birthday.

Isn’t this the prettiest blouse? This Pintucked Flutter Sleeve Top is a gorgeous color and is feminine looking without looking girlie. I usually don’t pay attention to reviews unless they are talking about size, but I read several that mentioned the top being see-through. This top is lightweight, and I never considered it see-through until I read those reviews. I’m standing in bright light, and you can’t see the top of my jeans or bra. My suggestion to everyone is only to buy nude-colored bras; that way, they never stand out under your tops.

Another complaint (a reason I don’t read reviews) they had was about the arm holes being too big. Ummmm, these arm holes don’t look that big to me. Either way, this top is now hanging in my closet because I thought it was too cute to send back. I’m wearing a medium, and it fits me great.

I love these Dangling Star Hoop Earrings. They create movement as I walk, drawing attention to your face. These come in a couple of different color variations, but I chose the mixed metals so I can wear them with any of my jewelry. When I went online looking for the link to the earrings, but I ended up buying myself a necklace. The Stretch Neutral Bracelets I wear all the time are on sale BOGO 50% off, so if you like this look, it is a great time to grab them now.

I purchased the Letter Initial Pendant in Iridescent Abalone. When I buy an initial necklace or bracelet, I’m never sure if I should choose a T or an S. Sometimes, I’ll select the S because I think my daughter or DILs could wear it if they wanted. But that never happened, so I went with the T this time. Lol!

I couldn’t resist this Straw Bucket Bag since it looked so good with this top. This isn’t a handbag that I would carry all of the time, but it adds a lot of flair to an outfit when you do. This is the bucket style, so there aren’t any compartments, which is one reason a bucket bag is not my favorite style of handbag. But, since I only intend to carry it occasionally, I can live with it.

If you are a size 27 in jeans, then you are in luck since that size is available in these Girlfriend Jeans. There are also a few extra sizes available in the Curvy Version, but not many. Since these aren’t available to most of you, I’ll see if I can find some similar ones for you. BTW, I’m wearing a size 29, and they have a relaxed fit.

These Studded Slide Sandals sure make a statement! I love the neutral color and how they can go with anything. What do you think about the studs? Are they too much for you, or do you like the youthful and modern style?

Here is a different version that isn’t so “in your face.” They still make a statement, but it is subtle. They are the same price too. They run true to size, and I’m wearing my usual size 9.

Now, for outfit number two. This is a similar outfit, but the style of the top is different, and I’m wearing olive-colored jeans instead of regular blue denim.

This Eyelet Ruffle Blouse is very similar to the first one, but I think this one is more girlie looking. I love the Fuschia color, but the top fits tighter through the chest than the other one. I’m wearing a medium, just like the other one, but this one is too tight and pulls across my chest.

Here is the length of the top. I suggest sizing up in the top; I think it runs small.

This is a cute little summer crossbody. I like the size of this bag, and it would be a great size for when you are out shopping or running errands. It should be able to carry everything you need for short trips, and the shoulder strap is comfortable. This mocha color is not available at the moment, but there is a version with a black handle and strap.

You probably already know that I’m olive-obsessed this year. Olive and Chocolate seem to be the two colors that I can’t get enough of, and you’ll be seeing me wear them a lot this coming fall. These Olive Crops Jeans are some of my favorite. The color is muted and subtle, I like the cropped length, and the denim stretch fabric is comfortable. I’m wearing size .5, and they fit me great.

The shoes I’m wearing are a pair of leather Cole Haan Toe Ring Sandals. I love this pecan color, and I liked the sandals so much I ordered another pair in ivory. It helped that they are on sale for under $50! They run TTS, and I’m wearing my usual size 9.
