TWO OF MY FAVORITE OUTFITS FROM WALMART

Today, I’m showing you two of my favorite outfits from Walmart. Actually, they are two of my favorite outfits…period! I love the easy-going casual and laid-back style of the outfits, how they can transition from summer to fall, and the affordable price tag!

Walmart hasn’t always been a fashion destination for me, but in the past couple of years, I’ve become a big fan. I like shopping online since I can find fashions that aren’t available in my local stores. Many of the Time and Tru items can be found in stores, but Scoop and Free Assembly, two of my favorite brands at Walmart, are ones I have to order online.

Every outfit has a star, the item that draws your eye. Today’s star is easy to spot; it is this Reversible Poncho Scarf by Scoop. The oversized poncho/scarf makes a statement but also serves a purpose. It is lightweight, but it will knock the chill off you as the temperatures start to dip. I love this tan leopard print, but the reverse side is also gorgeous, and I styled it later in this post, so keep reading.

The poncho/scarf is machine washable but does not have armholes, even though it mentions them in the description on the website. If you want armholes, it would be easy to sew a simple stitch to create them.

I love the Front Twist Short Sleeve Top and find the twist detail to be very flattering. The extra volume created by the twist hides any belly bulges I might have, and the twist draws your eye toward the middle creating a slimming effect. I’ve worn this top several times around the house, and I love wearing it with my leggings since it is so comfortable.

This Cognac Front Flat Handbag is a great medium-sized bag. It’s a good size and has a reasonably spacious interior that will hold all of your essentials like a phone, small wallet, lipstick, etc. I like that you can carry this versatile bag off the shoulder as a crossbody or use the handle as a tote.

I’ve styled these Slim Trouser Jeans before, and I still love their silhouette. These jeans have a lot of give to them, which helps to keep them comfortable. The inseam and rise aren’t listed, but I would guess they are high-rise and around a 32″ inseam. They are nice dress jeans that can also be worn casually like I’m doing here. The jeans run TTS, and I’m wearing a size 8, which fits me great.

I wore a pair of Faux Suede Boots w/Buckles with the jeans. This pair of boots is pair that I bought last year, and they go with everything during fall. I loved the darker brown color since I usually purchase caramel and wear them quite often. The boots run TTS, and I’m wearing my usual size 9.

Now for a slightly different version using a lot of the same items. This is when you get a lot of bang for your buck since you can create an entirely different look by only changing a few things.

Yep, this is the same Poncho/Scarf. I am wearing the Plaid side and opted to wear it as a scarf instead of a poncho. I think wearing the poncho/scarf like this looks dressier and chic looking. You can add a large pin or brooch to keep the scarf in place, adding extra interest.

The color might be different, but this is the same Front Twist Short Sleeve Top as the white one above. I loved this top so much that I also bought it in black. Black and white a classic colors, so I know I will find multiple ways to wear these tops and get my money’s worth from them, especially since they are under $13.00.

I changed my handbag and instead added this Faux Leather Black Handbag with a Chain Detail. This handbag is unique and can be worn either dressy or casual. It has a moto vibe, so it is edgy also. I think there will be a lot of ways to wear this handbag this fall.

I didn’t mention my 14Kt Gold Plated Paper Link Necklace and Gold Earrings. The necklace is 23″ long; I love that I can wear it in a couple of different ways. Notice with the white outfit, I’m wearing the necklace in a Y, and I’m wearing it here as a chain. My earrings have already sold out, but I’ll link to some that I own and a few that I like.
