TWO CASUAL WEEKEND OUTFITS THAT ARE COMFORTABLE AND STYLISH

How often do you wear jeans? Let’s be honest here, how many of you want to dress casually, especially for the weekends? You will see my hand raised high, and I normally wear jeans or some type of loungewear. Since there are 52 weekends in a year, I thought I would show you two casual weekend outfits.

 

Weekends are usually everyone’s favorite part of the week. There are no dress codes, and you can wear anything that you want. I usually divide my casual weekend outfits into two categories…casual and more casual. Lol! I dress up a lot throughout the week, and I love my comfort when it comes to the weekends.

 

 

This side-knot pullover sweater sure fits the bill in the comfort category. Softness is huge on my must-have list for casual weekend outfits, and this one is lightweight and very, very soft. However, I didn’t know that when I placed my order online, it was the style factor that attracted me.

A front-tie or side-tie top will give you the appearance of a smaller waist. Boom! I have just given you one of my style secrets that I use all of the time. I do not have a defined waist (thanks to scoliosis), so I have learned lots of tricks to help create the illusion of an hourglass figure.

 

 

Here is a side view so that you can see the length of the top in the back. I am wearing a large top since I want a relaxed, comfy fit, and I think the size is perfect for me. The top also comes in several other colors, including a gorgeous Bronze color that would look fabulous in the fall.

 

 

Because Fall is almost here, the skinny jean is back on my radar. These Simply Vera Vera Wang high-waisted skinny jeans have a lot of stretch to them, and the fit is fantastic. These jeans have the traditional 5-pocket styling, and the inseam is 29″, which is perfect for an ankle length. I am wearing my usual size 10, so I think these run TTS.

I want my comfort level to extend all the way from my top to my toes, so comfortable shoes are part of my casual weekend outfits. If you have ever tried LifeStride, you know that they know a thing or two about comfort. I love this classic navy loafer with the penny strap detail.

This casual weekend outfit isn’t really a sweatshirt and sweatpants since the material is Rayon and spandex. It is lighter and silkier than normal sweats, but it still gives the look and comfort of regular sweats. You will love the feel of this outfit, and I can’t wait to hear your comments once you try it.

The fabric lets the items drape, and that looks so much better. I love the wide boatneck neckline and the dolman 3/4 length sleeves of this top. I am also a fan of a banded hemline since that helps create a defined waist for me. The top is very relaxed and a tiny bit oversized, so I went with a medium, and I like the fit. The top also comes in a couple more colors, but I decided to go with black.

These drawcord pull-on pants are made in the same flowy material. The pintuck down the front of the pants is what gives these pants their style element. They are no longer a normal casual pair of pants, but instead, they are now a comfortable pair of fashionable pants.

These have an elastic waist and pockets in the front and back. I am not sure what the inseam on these pants is, but I am 5’6″ tall, and they are long enough for me. I am wearing a large and that is the perfect size for me.

 

 

These leopard print New Balance sneakers are the perfect blend of style and function. New Balance is a brand that I’ve worn for years, and I love how comfortable these sneakers are.
