TURQUOISE IN THE SUMMER
I have to tell you about my Saturday. It was forecasted to pour the rain, and it did early in the morning. I slept through it and wouldn’t have even known it had rained except for all the puddles everywhere. I wrote my post for Sunday and then decided to work outside and get the patio area cleaned up. I gathered up a bucket with some cleaning solution and a good bristle brush and headed outside. Oh, the joys of living beside the railroad tracks in coal country. Lol!
Believe me, EVERYTHING has to be washed down with soap and sprayed off. Joe was also busy trying to open up the pool and get it working. Because we live beside the railroad tracks, having an automatic robot to clean the pool in a necessity, not a luxury. Our old one was about 5 years old and it bit the dust so we ordered a new one in, reluctantly. I hate spending money but I know there is no way to stay ahead of the dust without one. Guess who came over to help NeeNee clean. She helped me spray off the chairs and her daddy helped Joe get some work done. We grilled some hamburgers and then went back out to work. Emersyn had other ideas though. She kept getting closer and closer to the pool. I’ll just put my feet in the water, can I stand on the first step, it won’t hurt me to sit on the steps and get wet. We could see where this was leading so we put on her “swimmies” just in case she decided to get in. That didn’t take more than 2 minutes. NeeNee decided that the rest of the cleaning could wait and I went in and put on my bathing suit. She is going to be a water baby this year. We stayed in the pool for at least 4 hours, maybe more, and she still screamed her head off when she had to get out. Haha!
I bought this oversized top the other day at the overstock store in town. I call it the overstock store because they buy overstocked and returned merchandise from QVC and then sell it in the store. This top is soooo comfortable. It has batwing sleeves and a high-low hem. This is from the Lisa Rinna Collection but it is not on the website at this time. I really hate that because I love this color. It is so perfect for spring and summer.
I like a neutral shoe for the summer months. I love a white shoe but they scream “look at me” when I have them on. A neutral color looks nice but still lets the outfit be the shining attraction. This pair is by Marc Fisher, one of my favorite brands, and I like the gold rings that accent the shoe. Those are the unique detail that makes the shoes stand out from all the rest. I also like the cork sole and the platform is not too large on this pair.http://rstyle.me/n/cnp2jmb6xt7
Tomorrow is my Rodanniversary! That marks my one year since I signed up to be a consultant. That sounds crazy to me! I can’t believe a year has already gone by, that was quick! I love the products, these are the first products I have ever used that I saw results and kept using. Normally, I would start a routine and then not see any changes and soon quit. I am sure I see a lot of you nodding your heads because I bet I am not alone in doing that. I still have a cabinet full of products that I ordered but wouldn’t continue using, some are still in their boxes because I was so sure I would use the product that I bought more than one. Mind you, these were not cheap, going to Wal-Mart brands, these were expensive and high-end brand names. Nada, nothing, absolutely no changes. That was why I was so skeptical about trying Rodan and Fields, I figured it would be a whole lot of the same. I promise you it wasn’t!!! So, tomorrow I will be celebrating and of course, I will be passing along my excitement to you. I love the confidence these products have given me and I love the comments that I have gotten from my customers about their experiences. That is why you hear me “gush” all the time about this company. ❤️
I just had to show you how big this top was. This is an eat all you like and don’t worry about it top! Lol! I hope my blog made your Monday a little nicer. Be sure to tune back in tomorrow to see how I celebrate!!!
The winner of my Plunder giveaway is Tammy Brown. I will send you an email, be on the lookout.

Our two grandkids (3 and 5) spent the weekend with us. Mommy and daddy went to Rocky Point. The weekend was so busy…..miniature golf, basketball game, McDonald’s, a summer festival and swimming! It was a fun weekend, but Nana is beat! Love my grandkids and love making memories with them!
Such a beautiful color on you, Tania. The whole look is great!
Beautiful outfit on you ! Turquoise is my favor color all year around ! I plan to take an overseas trip soon and that outfit is perfect for a long flight. Have a good day ??
As always, love your ebullient style! My fave is the Relon lipstick!
I love this color on you! And…the jewelry is the perfect accessory.
I have a shirt like that, but in the summer it’s too hot to wear a cami or another shirt under it, so it doesn’t get worn much….(unless I want to flash everyone..ha ha)

I love the color on you. With summer on its way, time to brighten up our wardrobe. I wear a petite size and batwing tops are a little overwhelming on me. Have a great week!
