Even when you have a casual day at home, you can still look put together. Most outfits consist of a top and a bottom. It is just as easy to pick a stylish top as it is to pick a top that misses the mark.

You can’t go wrong with the Sleeveless Non-Iron Perfect Shirt – Picnic Paisley. The non-iron fabric means you’ll look your best straight out of the closet. And since the heat wave of summer is already bearing down on some parts of the country, a sleeveless top is a much-needed piece.

The top offers good overage in the front and back, and I love that the straps are nice and wide. I hate having to constantly adjust my bra straps to keep them from showing, and that shouldn’t happen with this top.

Three Summer Outfits From Talbots – Lunch With Friends

If your friend calls and wants to grab a quick lunch, you are all set. Simply change your sleeveless top and hop in the car. You’ll soon be laughing with your friend and enjoying a delicious Caesar salad and a sweet tea.

The Charming Cardigan and Charming Shell are breathtaking! I have a weakness for Talbots’ “Charming” line of clothing. The cardigans are wistful and…charming. I love the Woodblock Floral print on the cardigan, and the navy trim at the sleeves and hem. You can wear the cardigan buttoned up as a top, or left open to show the shell underneath.

As I mentioned above, I hate fidgeting with my bra straps, so I appreciate the wide strap on the Charming Shell. I have this shell in lots of colors, but I still need a few more. Lol! The shell is of nice quality, and you can’t see through them like a lot of clothing.

These Wide Crop Pants are perfect for a casual summer lunch date. They are a nice length, and you can wear them with heels, flats, or sneakers. I love a wide-leg pant since they allow a lot of air to flow up the leg to cool you off. Also, someone mentioned that they were great for those who have to wear a knee brace. I’m wearing my usual size 8, but they were a smidge tight at the waist.

Three Summer Outfits From Talbots – Date Night

Ooh la la!!! I love this satin outfit! I honestly have more casual and lounging clothing, so when Joe and I go out for a date night, I sometimes struggle. Either my clothes are way too dressy or too casual for the restaurant we are eating at. I think this outfit is a perfect mixture and is a fantastic elevated casual look.

The Satin Popover can be worn with jeans, pants, or skirts, but I love it with the matching pants. A monochromatic outfit is chic and is doubly so when the outfit is satin. The sparkly buttons are a perfect addition to the top and look great with the top’s sheen.

The matching Satin Wide Leg Pants run true to size. They have a drawstring waist and pockets. The outfit is machine washable in cold water and needs to be line-dried. I’ve not tried this yet, so I can’t comment on how well they’ll look after being washed.
