THE DAYS OF MY LIFE
Last night I posted on FaceBook a simple task. I asked that everyone name something I love. It was so fun to see all my friends commenting about my family, fashion, vintage, Plunder and Rodan and Fields. They were ALL correct because I do in fact LOVE all those things. There are of course a whole lot more than those things but that is a good start. I probably should have said name things I don’t love, that would have been much harder. Note to self, “post of facebook to comment things I don’t love.” Lol!
I told Joe today that I think my blog is kind of like a soap opera. Cue the music, “As sands through the hourglass, so are the days of Tania’s life.” Lol! Today Tania slept in because I think she is catching a cold. She seems to be moving kind of slow, maybe she needs another cup of coffee. I know she needs to go to the nail salon because I see that she broke her nail. What color will she choose, will she ever get her nail fixed, who shot J.R.? Hahaha!
This top is waaaay too cute. It is another Umgee top that I bought the other day at Trendy Threads. When I bought the top, Kim (the owner) commented that I would have to wear something under it. Just because all the areas in the navy have holes in them is not a reason. Lol! I have on a navy camisole under the top so no one gets a peep show. I would normally think this is more the colors of fall and winter but this top is sleeveless. Since it was still a little chilly I decided to wear my navy long cardigan from Joan Rivers.
The camel colored pants are Pixie Pants by Old Navy. Some of you have commented that these pants don’t work for you because you are an apple shape. For an apple shape, you should probably steer clear of the skinny pants that are tight at the ankle. To balance out your shape you would need to do boot cut.
There is some exciting news coming from Rodan and Fields. They will be officially launching in Australia come May 2017!!! That is HUGE. I know any of you who are from Australia can not even begin to understand but this is really an amazing opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a new product launch. Especially when we are talking the magnitude of Rodan and Fields. For those of you who have decided to give this a try, I am so excited for you. Pre-enrollment is FREE and will continue through April. Contact me for more information.

I have this top too, but because I’m short, I can wear as a dress. Mine is cream in the lace parts and I wear a cream camisole under it. I love it with a mustard cardi too. Wear it with bare legs when its warm and booties or leggings and tall boots when its cold. Definitely a versatile piece :). I love how you styled it, Tania!
Your skin and lashes are looking fantastic!! Enjoy your daily blog!
I am new to your blog but am loving it! I am a travel nurse and spend M-F in scrubs. While I buy high end scrubs and always feel cute and polished, I have let my regular wardrobe get a but worn and dowdy. You have inspired me to update- NOW! I was wondering if you would mind sharing how tall you are? I am just 5’1″ and would like to visualize how some of the longer tops would look on me. Thank you in advance! PS I sent you an email with questions regarding Plunder Design jewelry.
Welcome, Kathy!!! I am 5’6″ tall and I normally wear a size 10 or a large. I just replied to your email. Lol!!!
I can’t imagine taking my own photos, Tania!! It’s hard enough getting good ones and my husband is a saint to take mine.
But I bet you could get Joe on task—he seems like he’d be a fun photographer???

I agree with Petra.
Love all your posts and putting youself out there with your sweet posts but this outfit isn’t your best.
I agreed also, Connie. I changed shoes after I saw the pictures but I didn’t take new pictures because I was running late. I actually meant to take new ones when I came home but that didn’t happen. Oh, well!!!
Love your bag! Where did it come from?
Sandy, that is a Dooney & Bourke tote.
Hope you’ll be OK with it if I say I don’t like this pants with the top and the blue booties, Tania!!!!!! To me it just doesn’t look right – I think it will work wonderful with a dark coloured jeans!!!! Oh, boy, I feel terrible saying it, but I think you will appreciate my honesty, hey!!!! (…hope so!!!!! LOL!!!!!) I do love the top and the vibrant colour of the cardigan!!!!!!! And I do love the bag, too …and the beautiful earrings and necklace!!!!! Do you ever have a bad hair day???? – have never seen your hair not looking great!!!!! – lucky you to have such lovely hair!!!!!
Have a great day!!!!

Petra, that is so funny. I completely forgot to tell everyone that I didn’t like the boots with the outfit. It cut off my legs so I went and changed to a brown color boot. I was running late and didn’t take the time to take new pictures. Hahaha! You were right!
I’m a Y&R girl. You look great in everything you were.
Love the way you put it about your soap stories – very cute but I guess your blog is really addictive like a soap – each day I look to see what you’re wearing and what you have to say – hehehe!
I have a fab face cream review – have seriously fallen in love with this and learnt lots of anti ageing skin care tips – hehe…http://funkyforty.com/the-grand-4-week-lierac-skin-challenge-conclusion/
Otherwise you’ll be pleased to know navy blue is coming in strong next season: http://funkyforty.com/shoe-addict-preview-milan-fashion-week-fall-2017/
I’m currently sitting on the train to Paris – it goes sooooo fast, over 300 km/hr. I just got a real fright as another train passed us in the opposite direction. Anyhow loads of Paris Fashion week updates about to be on blog and Instagram.
LOL Yvonne
Haha, I used to love that soap! The colors you are wearing are beautiful! Have a great Saturday!
