I always wore pumps or some version of high-heels to
work all my life. I have been retired for many, many years now, but saved a few that are really timeless. The only “heels” I’ve worn for years since retirement are wedges. The other day I tried on a pair of those pumps and nearly fell over after a couple of steps. I’ll stay with the wedges!
Lol! I love my pumps, but wedges are easier to walk in.

The best, most comfortable and machine washable wedge shoes are from the Charleston Shoe Company. I’m 63, have a bad right knee due to a skiing accident and I can wear their wedges to walk distances and even to dance! It’s a women owned shoe company!

I always wear wedge sandals in spring and summer. That’s the majority of my summer shoes. For some reason a closed toe wedge shoe is not comfortable on my feet.
They are all nice but I like the sketchers ones the most. They have so many cute styles of shoes nowadays.

Some great options that don’t put so much weight onto your toes. My bunions won’t tolerate that anymore. I have a couple of pair of wedges that I just can’t part with, but when I wear them, I regret it, quickly. Ever get up and go into another room to do/get something and then forget why you went there? My friend calls that “DESTINESIA”. You arrived at your destination, but got Amnesia. Stay busy!
