The Best Walmart Winter Outfits to Wear in 2025
If you had told me a few years ago that I’d be sharing premium-looking outfits from Walmart, I probably would’ve laughed and gone back to browsing other retailers. But here we are, and let me tell you… Stephanie walked into that dressing room and came out looking like she’d been shopping in a boutique store.
This little haul has everything, from pearl-trimmed denim to plush sherpa pullovers to holiday sweaters that look boutique-level. She filmed videos for each outfit, and the photos don’t even do them justice, so be sure to watch those too.
Let’s dive in because these pieces are good.
Light-Wash Wide-Leg Jeans & Bright Green Sweater
This outfit was the first one she tried, and she was already blown away. The bright green sweater is lightweight, surprisingly soft, and fits beautifully without clinging. It feels cheerful in the best possible way on a yucky winter day. She added the colorful Fair Isle Pullover, which is so festive.
The Vintage Wide Leg are so fun. Light wash, mid-rise, slightly wide leg, and they come with a removable tie belt. If you prefer your regular belt, just pop this one off. With flats, the length hits just right for petite ladies.
She paired them with tassel Faux Suede Loafers that look designer but feel like they should cost a whole lot less.

Christmas Sweater & Pearl-Trimmed Jeans
These jeans… let me tell you, when Stephanie walked out in these, I gasped loud enough that Joe would’ve asked what broke. They are darling. Tiny pearls scattered from thigh to hem, soft denim, the perfect petite-friendly length, and a gentle, wide-leg cut that doesn’t overwhelm.
The Christmas sweater she paired with them is equally beautiful. Festive without being tacky, soft enough to be worn all day, and filled with little beaded details around the yoke. She has two versions, and both look boutique-quality. If you like a closer fit, consider sizing down.

Plum Velvet Pants & Cream Flecked Sweater
Stephanie put this on and immediately said, “There is no way this is Walmart.” And honestly, I agree. The velvet pants come in this rich plum shade that feels fancy without trying too hard. The fit is a comfortable mid-high rise with just a bit of flare at the bottom, and they look especially polished with a small heel. Flats might be a hair too short for these, so keep that in mind.
The cream sweater is a winner all on its own. It’s soft, it has those tiny golden flecks woven through, and the puff sleeve gives it just enough personality. It’s the kind of sweater that looks expensive even when it isn’t.
Stephanie finished the outfit with the faux-suede fringed cowboy boots she tried earlier this year. Those little boots can go from “everyday cute” to “holiday dressy” without blinking.

Green Floral Corduroy Top & Black Jeans
This fine-wale corduroy top looks like something you’d find hanging in a small-town boutique. The green is rich, the black floral print looks intentional rather than busy, and the sleeves have a subtle puff with a small slit at the wrist—just a little touch that makes it feel elevated.
The straight-leg jeans she’s wearing are petite-friendly right out of the gate. A tiny cuff, just the right rise, and a comfortable bit of stretch. The ballet flats keep the outfit sweet and easy.

Gray Cardigan, Beige Ribbed Tee & Black Straight Jeans
This is the kind of outfit you reach for three times a week because it’s that easy and that classic. The gray cardigan has a pretty stitched detail running along the edges that keeps it from feeling basic. It’s lightweight, soft, and long enough to skim the hips without overwhelming the frame.
Underneath, she wore a simple ribbed long-sleeve tee, but the sleeves have a subtle design element that makes it feel more special. These are the not-so-basic basics we all need.
She kept on the same black jeans and loafers, which are perfect everyday pieces, comfortable, flattering, and easy to mix with anything.

This sweater is even prettier in person than it looks in photos. The lilac and deep mulberry stripes make such an unexpected color combo, and the oversized turtleneck gives it that cozy, snuggle-into-it feeling.
It’s a midweight knit, soft and warm without being bulky. Stephanie is wearing a small here for a relaxed fit, and you could definitely size down if you prefer something closer to the body.
She paired it with wide-leg jeans and slip-on clogs that look very similar to the pricier brand everyone’s talking about this year. It’s a weekend errand outfit with a little attitude.

Leopard Cardigan & Ribbed Turtleneck
You know I’m never going to pass up a good animal print, and neither is Stephanie. One look at this cardigan, and you’ll understand why. It’s incredibly soft, slightly oversized in the best possible way, and hits just below the hips. It layers beautifully without swallowing your shape.
Underneath, she added a wide-ribbed turtleneck for texture, which may be limited in sizes. The whole look feels chic, modern, and perfect for everything from school pick-up to lunch with your girlfriends.

Sherpa Pullover & Wide-Leg Jeans
Stephanie is a pullover girl through and through, and when she put this one on, she gave me the “oh wow” look. The sherpa is dreamy soft, the chest panel is actual corduroy with a faint quilted pattern, and the mix of textures makes it look far more expensive.
She sized up to a medium for a roomier fit. Paired with wide-leg jeans and suede Chelsea boots, this one is ready for chilly morning walks, last-minute shopping runs, or keeping warm in a drafty house. (My mom would call this her ‘thermostat saver.’)
