THE BEST VACATION EVER

This post will be mostly pictures because I am packing and then we have to head out for our last dinner. We have ate and ate and ate. Lol! I swear that seems like all we have done since we have been here. The first night when I looked at the menu I about gasped. Then I realized it was in Peso’s and it wasn’t nearly as expensive as I at first thought. However, we didn’t have a single meal that was under 50.00 dollars, and that means breakfast and lunch too. That was a bit of a shock for this country girl who complains when our meal is 20.00. Haha!
The water was the prettiest shade of blue but there was a lot of seaweed washing up on the shore every day. We just decided to stay at the pool for the most part. I am not sure if the seaweed is a normal occurrence or if there was something going on at this time of year. When we go to Myrtle Beach we don’t get the seaweed so this was somewhat of a shock to us.
I had a “blonde” moment on Thursday. I have been very good about putting on my R+F sunscreen because I burn easily. I have been so proud of myself because I haven’t burned at all……until Thursday. I put on my sunscreen in the room and something must have distracted me. I must have missed putting on the sunscreen on one arm!!! I can tell you that the R+F sunscreen works great because the arm that didn’t get it applied now looks like a lobster. Red is not a good color for me. Hahahahaha!!!
I met lots of really nice people here on the trip. This must be the destination of choice for large companies looking to pamper their employees. Beachbody was here right before Rodan + Fields. (Thank goodness they left the day before we arrived!) Then, the day that most R+F people left there was about 6 more companies checking in with their employees. The daughter of one of my readers was among those coming in and she asked me about the safety, etc. I ended up meeting her daughter, Courtney who was an absolute doll. Joe was so impressed with her and her attitude that he just kept talking about her. Lol!!! We really tried hard to recruit her for R+F because she would be amazing at this. You just never know who or how you will meet people. BTW, if you didn’t see it, I shared an incentive that R+F is offering to all of our Preferred Customers. Go here to read about that.
I really appreciate all of the shares and the pins of my outfits that you have been doing. PLEASE continue to do that, you won’t believe the difference it has made in my number of visitors to my blog.

I’m so happy y’all decided to stay a couple more days! You both work hard so you should play hard!
Now that you and Joe have been bitten by the resort life, you need to take the time and go each year, it truly is such a relaxing way to travel….my hubby and I have been doing it for 18 years, and we absolutely love it!! It’s such a nice break from winter!! Enjoy your extended stay!!
Yay!!!!!!! Look at you guys, you must have been giggling all night long? I hope you have a fabulous extended vacation.
That is so cool! We were in Puerto Villarta a couple years ago and our flight home had mechanical problems so they cancelled it after we sat at the airport for several hours, it was okay tho cuz we got to stay an extra day and got a good last minute deal on Hotel Tonight right on the ocean so I was very happy to stay another day. Joe really has had a great time it appears! From all your pictures it looks like the trip of a lifetime!!
what a wonderful plot twist! Love it!
I hope you were kidding about extending your stay.
Lol!!! This is so funny. My mother is signed into her computer as ME. So, she left a comment and it appears like I am talking to myself! Hahahaha!
The seaweed is unusual. This year only. I’ve been going to Cancun for 20 years. Love it.
I feel the same as Penny! When I read that Joe wanted to extend your stay by a week, I said to myself, “heck, he wouldn’t have to ask me twice!” So glad you’re extending your adventure!
I was about to tell you to STAY, everyone needs a little extra r & r, enjoy it while you can, home will be there waiting on you a few days later. Great pictures and fabulous vacation!!!!
