It’s time to kick up our heels for the holidays. I can’t believe it is already December, and Christmas is barely over three weeks away. I don’t have any holiday parties on my calendar, but I still like to keep an “event” outfit handy. I like to dress like this for a date night in December; it makes me happy.

This sequin embellished jacket is gorgeous! I wore it earlier with ivory pants (see here), and it looked great.

How gorgeous is this? I love so much about this sparkly top. The V-neck and twist front would be flattering on so many people. It looks great in black, but it also comes in lots of other colors, including a festive green and berry. This is an elegant look for around $40 dollars!

Here’s another beauty from Grace Karin. This is perfect for my gurls who prefer a bit of sleeve. I LOVE this aquamarine color. It would be great for Christmas, but also for New Year’s Eve. This comes in champagne, red, black, and many others.

For those of you who like a crew neck, here’s a cute option available in champagne, black, berry, and white. I think this would work well for office parties under a nice blazer. You know I love a pop of WOW. And like the others, it’s under $40 dollars!

Hello, life of the party! Is there anything more festive than metallic gold? I’d wear this with black ponte pants or some leather leggings. There’s also a metallic red, and a cute version that has a gold Christmas tree. Why be subtle when you can be extra?! Under $30 dollars.

VaVa VOOM! I love this sequin dress from Nordstrom. It’s hard to see, but there’s a bow detail on the waist. It also comes in green and mulberry, and those versions show the bow a little better. I love the long sleeves, and this dress is fully lined. This hits right above the knee and has a small vent in the back. A zipper closure will help in getting it off and on.

This is SO pretty. You know that I love a vintage vibe, and this is giving me a 1930s feel. It’s a unique color; they call it gold navy, but I’d say it’s a burnished gold. The back has a gorgeous tie at the neck as well. The balloon sleeves are another beautiful detail.

Hello, Gorgeous! Talk about making an entrance. This is a show-stopper, for sure. It’s hard to believe but this is only around $150 dollars. It also comes in a lovely midnight blue and an iridescent white version. Wear it for Christmas or New Year’s, or both!

I feel like this dress combines so many great details of the previous dresses. I like the metallic stripes, the neckline, and the balloon sleeves. This dress is partially lined, which gives a very nice sheer effect. So on trend! Available in sizes 2-16.
