How cute is the sweater from Talbot’s?! The tinsel gold dots are perfect for any occasion. Wear it with some black velvet pants if you want really shine, or pair it with some jeans for a more casual approach. Since it’s a crew neck, I’d add gold bracelets like the photo for added bling.

A solid tunic is perfect for the holidays. I love things that can be worn over and over, and once Christmas is past, you can still wear it throughout winter. It’s also available in a classic ivory, as well as navy and purple. This is all about how you style it. A pretty pin and dress pants will elevate it, or you can stay more low-key with jeans.

I did a post earlier on holiday plaids, but it wasn’t specific to plus-size. These plaids will work for the holidays and months after!

This is a more casual approach to a holiday top. Who doesn’t love a soft flannel shirt during the winter? Old Navy has affordable options, for sure. I really like this green/navy plaid but they have several other combinations, including the classic red and black.

The Rayon & Silk Velvet Blouse is gorgeous, and I think it is a little oversized or relaxed. I’m wearing a medium, and I probably could have sized down for a slimmer fit. I think the bordeaux color is beautiful, but it also comes in gray. Both of those would look great for fall and winter, especially with jeans.

While it’s nice to have a top that you can wear beyond the season, sometimes a gurl needs a Christmas top! This is cute, and inexpensive. It’s very casual, so save it for your low-key events. Of course, there are other options at the link if you don’t love this design.

This is a similar top, but I couldn’t resist the plaid sleeves and the leopard print tree! There are several others at the link, and a few that don’t have any Christmas lingo, so you could wear them past December 25th. I like the one that reads, “Baby, it’s cold outside.” I feel like I’d get a lot of wear out of that here in Virginia!

This is the cutest snowflake sweater! I love all the different colors in the snowflakes, and it would look great with so many pants. Would you wear this sweater with jeans, corduroys, or pants?

I’ve been seeing sweaters with scenic embroidery everywhere! I think they are too cute. I love the Christmas tree and the kid on the bike. Plus, Talbot’s is always great quality. This looks like something I’d wear to Aspen on a ski trip. Can’t you see me drinking a mug of hot chocolate in this? True confession, I don’t know how to ski and I’ve never been to Aspen, lol.

Finally, isn’t this pretty? Cardinals are a favorite of mine! I love it paired with the red plaid, but of course, a solid color would work beautifully, too. This is a slightly relaxed cardigan but if you want more room, size up one size.
