The Best Budget-Friendly Jackets for Fall 2023

I know that it’s still hot in a lot of places, but I am calling it – fall is officially here. I don’t care about the date, or the temperature, because football season has begun, and that’s all the info I need. Recently, I got to attend my son’s first football game as the new coach, and it was so much fun! If you know of anyone who has a son or grandson playing high school football, I am encouraging you to go. They are a trip! I can’t guarantee your team will win, but I can help you look your best. That’s why I’m sharing the best budget-friendly jackets for fall!

The Best Budget-Friendly Jackets for Fall – $

Let’s start off with a super soft and cozy sherpa-like jacket. Because I’m always cold (I’m sitting in a Barefoot Dreams sweater as I type), I have jackets for all the different stages of fall. I would call this one a medium-stage jacket. It isn’t super lightweight, but it isn’t heavy either. This one is perfect for watching a football game on a Friday night, or sitting around the firepit when the weather has a nip in the air.

Oh yes! This is a great fall jacket. Love the color, the silhouette, and especially the price! This jacket looks so much more expensive, but it’s very affordable. This is in the trending color of orange/red and would be perfect for fall football games. It comes in a variety of colors if this is not your fave.

Puffer coats have been a thing for a few years now, and I don’t see any signs that they’re going away. I hope they don’t! They are so warm, and they come in so many lengths and colors. I can’t believe this one is under 50 dollars. What in the world?! I bought mine last year, and it is great for taking Lucy Lu out to potty.

How pretty is the pale pink puffer vest? I love a vest for transitioning to fall. This one is from Old Navy and comes in several other colors, including the trending sage green, black, cream, and chocolate brown.

This military/marching band-influenced jacket looks really flattering! I would wear this with jeans and a rocking scarf for a perfect, casual fall look. It comes in blue, red, and for those of you who really want to make a statement – scarlet!

I love a good neutral jacket, and this utility jacket from Gap is hitting all the right notes. I like the longer silhouette and the drawstring detail. The Gap is a great brand for those of you who are worried about buying from a new vendor. It also comes in black, cream, and a gorgeous lilac.

Yes, I’m a Barbiecore lover when it comes to fashion. I’ve been styling and wearing bright pink for YEARS, not just because it is having a moment right now. I bought this jacket in February, and I loved wearing it. It lifted my spirits when the cold temperatures of winter, and I could pretend that spring wasn’t far off.

The color is listed as cognac, but I’m calling it goldenrod. Whatever you call it, I think it’s too cute. Are ya’ll feeling the fall love yet? This could be dressed down with jeans or elevated with some cream pants and sassy heels. It comes in 7 different colors!

You know I’m a big fan of biker/moto jackets. This one is available in black and brown and is just $75 dollars. It is also available in plus size.

Denim jackets are my jam. Lol. Do people still say that? All I know is that I’ve never met a blue jean jacket that I didn’t love. 🙂 What I appreciate is that this is a different take on a familiar jacket. This is perfect for people who don’t want to look like every other lady at the brunch table.

I told you I’ve never met a denim jacket I didn’t love. I think the light wash is so pretty, and I like the unique collarless design and the pretty silver buttons. This jacket has plenty of stretch, so fit shouldn’t be an issue. I really love the polished look of this jean jacket, but it can also be worn casually.

Like the utility jacket from The Gap, this field jacket has a drawstring waist and plenty of pockets. Talbot’s is a trusted brand, and you always know you’ll get good quality clothing. I think camel and white is a very chic color combination.

Since moving to the Oregon Coast, I’ve collected a ton of cute jackets, most with hoods to accommodate the inevitable wind and rain! I love the utility jackets and moto jackets, as well as jean jackets on those days when the weather cooperates. We are getting ready now to move to the Big Island of Hawaii, so I have a good feeling I’ll be retiring a lot of my cute jackets. 😊 Tania, you look cute in all of the jackets you featured. Thank you for sharing them! It will be difficult for me not to purchase any new jackets this year! God bless you, and your beautiful family.

I ordered the Talbot field jacket and agree with all the reviews. The buttons are weird looking and the size is a bit small. Still deciding whether to return. I was going to but came down with covid and had to isolate. So time to think. I think jacket’s define your style and need to be carefully chosen.

    1. Well, now I’m going to HAVE to order the field jacket. Lol! I already have several field jackets, so I didn’t order one, but now I’ve got to check it out.
