A denim shirt is synonymous with fall, and it is so versatile. You can wear them by themselves or as a layering piece under a vest or jacket. Today I’m sharing the best affordable denim shirts for fall, and I hope you find one (or two) you like.

This oversized chambray shirt has the perfect relaxed and carefree look. I love pairing it with my white ankle jeans and D’Orsay flats. The brown belt ties the flats and Leather Tote Shoulder Bag together. This is an old belt, and I’m searching for a new one. Here are a couple that I’m looking at.

This is a great denim shirt to include in your wardrobe! You can wear it now and easily transition to fall with a jacket. I like that it’s more fitted than some, which is great for showing your waistline. It has no front pockets, which is also nice for those of you who are a little more busty. It’s VERY affordable and just under $21 dollars!

I love a good camp shirt, and this denim version is no exception. I realize that I’m using denim as the “look,” but this is actually not made of denim fabric! It’s Rayon. This looks fitted, but according to the reviews, it’s not. It comes in a variety of colors, so if you want a darker wash, etc., you’re in luck.

Love this relaxed-fit denim shirt! The large cuffs on the sleeves are a nice touch. If you would rather have a different color, you’re in luck because it comes in several options. It also comes in long sleeves if you’d rather have that than short sleeves.

This is a very traditional style of denim shirt with a western feel, and I’m here for it! The material is a thinner version than the usual thick type of denim, so you could wear it as soon as the weather cools in your area. The reviewers say to size up!

Not every denim shirt has to look the same! I think this v-neck version is a nice twist on the traditional version. Like many of the others, it comes in several different wash shades. It’s got a nice rounded hem and is long enough to cover the booty for most people – perfect for leggings!

I love this style of denim shirt! Doesn’t it look like something a rock star or Willie Nelson would wear? lol. Since it’s a woman’s shirt, maybe I should say Rhianna and Carrie Underwood. Either way, I think it’s a classic! The best part is it’s only $30 dollars. I love looking like a rock star for less. 🙂

I’ve blogged in the past about how you can find name brands on Amazon, and GAP is a great example. Those of you who are reluctant to order from Amazon because you’re not sure of the quality can order from brands that you trust, like GAP. This shirt is oversized, which is great for layering. If you don’t want to wear it baggy, you can order a size or two down from normal.

Some chambray shirts are too thick and heavy, but I like this one because it is so lightweight. The faded look of this shirt, but it runs a little big. I’m wearing a large, and I definitely needed a medium. I wanted to show you how it looks in a different color. Isn’t this cute in pink?

Of course, I can’t post about denim shirts without including at least one from Levi’s. This is classic Levi’s with the white pearl snaps, the white stitching on the pockets, and of course, the red Levi tag. This is not a thin shirt, so get it with a plan to wear in fall and winter!

Finally, you know how much I love my Wrangler denim jacket, so I had to include one of their denim shirts! The reviews are good, “As a stylist, I was totally impressed. The quality of the denim is great and feels good to the touch,” but several people mention that the sleeves are narrow, so if you have larger arms, you might want to consider a different one.
