Joe and I made it Florida safe and sound. It was a long drive but we had a good time traveling together. Joe and I work together at the lumber company every day however we don’t really see each other or talk to each other during the day. He is busy and I am busy and we don’t have a lot of time for just sitting still and communicating. It made the really long trip more fun and now I sort of look forward to the trip back home. Sort of. Lol!
Every time we travel we start to wonder why we don’t travel more often. It is wonderful getting out of town for a few days just to recharge and energize. I loving experiencing new things and seeing new places but I am the worst when it comes to traveling. I will find every excuse in the world why we don’t need to go. It could be too far, too expensive, worrying about the dogs, worrying about the lumber company, or even just that I am too busy. I have no idea why I am like that but it is like you have to use dynamite to blast me out of the house. Is this an age thing? Do even of you feel this same way? I don’t “want” to be like that. I would love to just pack an overnight bag and head out of dodge for a long weekend once a month. Maybe when I get back home I will see if I feel the same way. If I do, then you gurls can give me some suggestions on nearby places to visit. 
The Labor Day sales are gearing up and you NEED to be taking advantage of the huge savings. I have just doubled the chain and let the pendant hang through the loop. This is just another way to make your purchases work in more than one way.
This pair of Rocketdog shoes feels like mocassins. I have had them for years and they still look the same as when I bought them. Great outfit! Love the taupe being neutral but substantial and not boring! I have had to travel for business or 35 years and still doing it and I HATE it! Sick of airports, missed connections, delays and being stranded when all you want the do is get home! If I ever get to retire, I may travel only if I can drive there, have no set schedule to be anywhere causing angst and aggravation and have a suitcase packed with all my necessities that just sits there ready to go and I don’t have to think about it. On the other hand, I’ll just stay home ?
Glad you arrived safely. It looks like our weather on the Gulf Coast is beautiful this weekend. My sister is like you in that she doesn’t like to travel. She would much rather be home. Not me Give me a reason and we are gone. Two weeks ago we rode his motorcycle to northern Georgia for the eclipse. We love to travel. I hope you can find the time to do more traveling and have so much fun in Panama City

Good morning Tania! I too have a hard time budging mostly because I feel guilty about leaving my dog Molly. She has never been in a kennel except when she was in a shelter 8 years ago. I depend on relatives who I can count on but still feel guilty. But once my husband and I head out I enjoy our time together. He is the driver and I am the navigator. ( I have to hold my backseat driver’s tongue on occasion) Hope you and Joe have fun. Safe travel back home.

Love your outfit. Nicely put together…. very comfy looking,cool and just right for running errands in etc. I must admit I too enjoy my own home these days. Years ago you couldn’t keep me home, loved traveling, but now, all I can think of is the inconvenience of packing, forgetting something, and hours in either a car or an airport. To avoid all that hassle and anxiety, I prefer company to come to me or just explore my own backyard….lol
