Today is January 5th! I bet most of you already knew that. Lol! To me, January 5th is a special day because three women I love were born on that day. My DIL’s mother was born on this day. You have heard me talk about my Energizer Bunny friend, but this woman makes her look slow. She can wrangle 4 grandchildren with ease, she can have them fed, bathed, and down for a nap like nobody’s business. She came up for my other son’s wedding and would cook, clean, take care of all the kids, and have plenty of time to go play in the pool. Joe keeps asking for her to come back and visit because a little bit of her rubbed off on me, at least for a while. Lol50 IS NOT OLD | HOW TO STYLE A HORSE BLANKETNext is my Aunt Nancy. She is my mom’s sister and she is the godly woman I have always wanted to be. I worked with Nancy when I lived in Cookeville, TN so I got to know her as a friend and not just as a relative. She is soft spoken and never raises her voice. She is the epitome of Proverbs 31:25. And for the final birthday lady, my mother. That is right, my mom and her sister have the same birthday 5 years apart. My mother is one of those ladies who if you ask a question then you better be prepared for the answer. She does not believe in sugar-coating anything. Lol! She is practical which drives me crazy. She is the one always telling me that I don’t need something. She is the rock of the family. Dad, like most daddy’s, was the one to play and have fun with while mom was left to do all the discipline. While I was home visiting over Christmas I asked mom and dad about a memory I had. I remembered that daddy came home one day and gave mom a kiss on the cheek. He told her happy birthday and told her he had been out shopping. He said, “I looked all over town for something to buy you for your birthday, but I couldn’t find anything.” Then without missing a beat he said, “look at this new watch I bought for myself.” Hahaha, I know daddy is reading this so you need to go make it up to her today and bring her home something nice, like a watch for HER! To be fair, she is VERY hard to buy for. I get her the same thing year after year, for her birthday and mother’s day, I buy her a membership to Ancestry. Happy Birthday, Mom!!! I love you❤️50 IS NOT OLD | HOW TO STYLE A HORSE BLANKETFor some reason I think about the West when I look at this outfit. I am not wearing cowboy boots but I think it is the top that reminds me of the blankets you throw on a horse. Oh my goodness, am I a good salesman or what??? Anyway, since we are talking about the top, let’s continue on. I bought this top a little boutique in town and it is by Christian Caliendo. Two of the sweaters below are under 35.00 and the other one is over 300.00. How good are you at spotting expensive items?

50 IS NOT OLD | HOW TO STYLE A HORSE BLANKETI am wearing mostly gold with this outfit. I think I went with gold because of the tan stripe in the top.The Ashton earrings (my personal favorite) really stand out against the blue collar of the shirt. The short bling T is one that I bought in Marietta GA and it is by Monarch Inspirations. The long S is the Destiny.50 IS NOT OLD | HOW TO STYLE A HORSE BLANKETThis bracelet was a mistake. I didn’t order this bracelet but they sent it to me by mistake. I called and told them that I liked it so I would just keep the bracelet and pay for it. You know what Bob Ross says, “We don’t make mistakes, we just have happy accidents.” I haven’t mentioned it this month but I am now ALWAYS offering a 10% refund on any Plunder order placed that is over 50.00 excluding shipping, handling, and taxes. If you have placed an order that qualifies and you haven’t gotten a check from me, then you need to email me and let me know. I need to see if it slipped through the cracks or if it has been lost in the mail.50 IS NOT OLD | HOW TO STYLE A HORSE BLANKETThe boot cut jeans I have on are by Vigoss and I purchased mine at Maurice’s. I love these jeans, they are a premium denim (means they are going to last) and they wash great. This pair comes with the well-worn look on the knees. Lol!

50 IS NOT OLD | HOW TO STYLE A HORSE BLANKETMy shirt under the sweater is a denim shirt from Old Navy. I like the medium version but every time I go into the store the dark version tempts me. I think everyone can use a denim shirt in their closet. You can wear them alone, over something like a jacket, under a top, or even with a dress. They are a very versatile fashion item.

One of my goals for 2017 is to grow my fledgling businesses in Plunder and Rodan and Fields. I have a goal to add at least one person per month. Plunder is helping me with this goal. Joining Plunder is 99.00. That is not a huge amount of money for starting your own business but I want to make it even easier. If you join Plunder with me, I will offer to pay half of your kit back to you. If you are interested, then email me for the details at fiftyisnotold@gmail.com.

Joining Rodan and Fields has three levels you can join at. If you join me in my business with at least the 395.00 kit, I will also offer to reimburse you half of your kit back to you. You could start a business and only have 200.00 invested, email me for the details at fiftyisnotold@gmail.com Since Plunder decided to give an incentive to those signing up this month, I will give one for R & F too. If you signup with the 395.00 kit then I will refund you 50.00, the 695.00 kit will get you a 75.00 refund, and the 995.00 kit will get you a 100.00 refund. I have a goal of signing up one new consultant a month and I hope that is you.

Part of my 2017 goals is to grow my subscriber list on the blog. If you are not a subscriber PLEASE take the time to sign. Hi Tania! Love the Destiny necklace! How can I order one? Thank you!!

  7. Oh my gosh Tania, I loved Bob Ross. I watched him all the time. Never learned to paint like him though. You look great in this outfit. Your pants always fit so well. No matter what I buy they bag below my bottom and my knees. I would just be thrilled if I could find ONE pair that fit me like yours do. Oh well. Hope you are feeling better. Have a blessed day.
