I’ve been looking for it for a long time, and it is finally here! Welcome, Spring!!!! You are a sight for sore eyes and cold bones. I couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate than to wear florals. Flowers might not be popping out of the ground just yet, but they are sure popping in my closet!

I have never been a floral person and didn’t have many items in my closet with flowers on them. But that has all changed this year. That is the wonderful thing about fashion; it can change from year to year or from season to season. Please keep an open mind about fashion; you never know what you might like when you give it a chance.

This raspberry Touch of Cool™ tank is perfect for layering; it’s a lightweight fabric and feels cool to the touch. The knit fabric is soft and stretchy, and it is very comfy to wear. I like the deep scoop neckline, and I think it is flattering since it elongates your neck. The tank is a relaxed fit, and I am wearing a size 1 that fits me great.

I could have worn white pants or jeans, but I wanted to try these jeggings that are such a soft color. The color is called Pale Azalea, and it looks like a blush pink to me. I think this is a beautiful color that would look fabulous all spring, especially with a white or navy top. I also ordered this tunic sweater which looks fabulous with the jeggings, but I plan on putting that on the blog with a pair of Ecru pants.

These pull-on jeggings have the look of classic five-pocket jeans but are a stretch fabric that smoothes and slims. The stretch denim fabric moves with you and is comfortable to wear. The 27″ ankle length inseam is great for wearing with flats, sneakers, and heels, making it a versatile item that you will be able to wear with multiples things. I am wearing a size 1, and I like the way that the jeggings fit.

As much as I like the tank and the jeggings, it is the floral rain trench coat that is the star of this outfit! Florals are all the rage this spring, and this trench blends functionality and fashion perfectly. Gloomy weather doesn’t stand a chance when you are wearing this coat, and it is bound to bring a smile to everyone you meet.

The trench is a class style with a removable hood and a tie belt which gives it a flattering shape. It is lightweight and features a removable hood that you can detach once the rainy season has passed you by. I am wearing a size 1 in this coat, and I think that it fits me great. It is on sale at 50% off, so make sure that you take advantage of the sale while you can. Don’t you love saving money on quality clothing? Here are some additional looks that would look great with this trench coat!!!

I am celebrating this month because it is Joe’s Birthday month. He told me that I couldn’t make a big deal out of his birthday. I don’t think that announcing for the entire world to see is making a big deal. Lol! So, randomly, each week, I am going to pick a winner for a gift. The gifts will vary in size and price, and I will pick the winner from the comments that I receive during the week.

This week’s winner is…..Lorie!!! Keep commenting, and you might be next week’s winner.

  1. Love this outfit. I put on a pink flowered top this morning and pink pants and looked at myself and said NO too much pink and you are too old to wear this. Now I wish I had stuck with it. By the way, those shoes were a very pleasant surprise. How in the world did you decide to wear blue? It is just an amazing look and I would never have been so smart to try it.
