Tops

1. V Neck Camisole Top

A white tank like this v neck camisole is a great layering piece. I have worn them tucked into skirts, under a denim jacket or blazer, or layered them under a top that shows too much cleavage to add a little more coverage. It’s available in a ton of different colors, so something for everyone.

2. Short Sleeve Blouse

A simple black top can be paired with so many different bottom options like denim shorts, jeans, olive utility pants, chinos, etc. This v-neck, button-down blouse is a step up from a classic black tee, making it easy to dress up if needed. You can’t go wrong with black, but it’s also available in some nice prints.

3. Short Sleeve Boat Neck Tee

A white tee shirt is another classic wardrobe staple that I think every woman needs in her closet. I like that this tee has a boat neck, giving it a unique and unexpected twist from the typical crewneck. It’s a great basic shirt for around $20 dollars!

4. Denim Jacket

This Wrangler Denim Jacket is one of my favorite purchases from last year. It is so versatile, and I have worn it with dresses, jeans, and shorts. I wore it often throughout the fall and winter, as well. I’m wearing a large, and I still had room to add a lightweight sweater under it.

5. White Blazer

A white blazer is one of those essential pieces that everyone needs in their spring and summer wardrobe. It LOOKS so effortlessly chic and stylish over a sundress, tank, blouse, or tee! The white is gorgeous but it’s available in several others.

6. Open Front Cardigan

Cardigans aren’t just for the fall! They are wonderful for chilly spring mornings and cool summer nights. They’re also great to wear over a dress to a location like church or the funeral home where you’d like to add a little coverage.

Dresses and Jumpsuits

7. Maxi Dress

A black maxi dress is a blank slate. It would look great under a graphic or basic tee that is tied up in a knot or with a denim jacket. You could add one of my favorite rattan belts or a colorful necklace. A v-neck looks flattering on almost everyone, too.

8. Swing Dress

A lightweight dress like this sleeveless swing dress looks just as cute paired with sneakers as it does with a cardigan and a heeled sandal. It’s a very cool dress made from Viscose. If it’s cool where you are, pair it with a denim jacket. Once it gets hot, you can wear this as a dress or even a cover-up.

Bottoms

9. Denim Short

If you live where it is hot during the spring and summer months, you need a pair of denim shorts in your rotation. I love wearing mine with flowy blouses, tees, and tanks! This pair from Democracy is a 7″ length, which I think is a sweet spot between too short and too long. If you do prefer a longer short, they also have a 13″ Bermuda option.

10. Denim Jeans

You can find me wearing jeans all year long. A great pair of jeans, a pretty top, and a casual sandal is one of my favorite combinations for summer. There are many different popular styles and washes of jeans right now, but go with whatever style makes you feel your best.

11. Chino Short

Chino shorts are comfortable, versatile, and stylish. I love their classic style and the fact that they can be dressed up or down. Chino shorts have been a fashion staple for many years, and this classic and timeless style never goes out of fashion.

Shoes

12. Braided Flat Sandal

When I am shopping for sandals, I typically look for a neutral shoe that I can pair with many different outfits. This tan braided pair will look so cute styled with dresses, skirts, shorts, or pants! They look stylish and are very comfortable.

How pretty is this metallic polka-dot skirt? It would look great with a pretty top and cardigan. If you want to dress it up, add some statement jewelry. Want to be casually elegant? Wear it with a denim jacket and some cute sneakers. Going for an edgy look? Throw on a pair of booties!

Here’s a pretty blouse in a great floral print, but it’s all about the sleeves for me. This is available in 18 different prints and is just $20 dollars. It has a bit of stretch, which I always appreciate. If you’re worried about it being too tight, size up one size.

This is one of my favorites. Look at those sleeves! I think the print is so cute, but it’s available in a few more. It’s 100% polyester and machine washable, which is always a plus. It’s hard to believe, but this is just $25 dollars.
