SLEEVELESS EMBROIDERED DRESS
Woohoo! It is beautiful here! We actually arrived in Cancun, Mexico Sunday afternoon and we had a Welcome event to go to that night. It was fabulous being surrounded by Rodan + Fields ladies everywhere you looked. This trip is different from most of the trips that I go on with R+F because it is a trip that is “won” and not one that everybody can attend. Another difference is that there are lots of husbands on this trip. Most of the trips that I go on is just the consultants with a few husbands scattered here and there.
This is Joe’s first time participating in any of these type activities. I am crossing my fingers that he has a good time and doesn’t get bored. I am fine with laying on the beach and playing in the water but he is not. He likes to be busy and laying in the sun is like pulling teeth for him. Lol! He will either learn to relax or this trip will be verrrrry long for him. Hahaha!
Cute and fun were the first two words that came to my mind when I first saw this dress. I have never heard of the brand, THML, but this sleeveless embroidered dress was perfect for the beach. I was worried about the laundering instructions and I found out that it was hand wash and lay flat to dry. I can live with that. I am wearing a large which is my normal size and it fits fine. It is an A-line style with the babydoll bodice and I love the lace-up neckline. But I think my favorite part of the dress is the tassels. The yellow pops off of the blue and it is one of my favorite color combinations.
The Adella earrings are bright and colorful. They are sunshine yellow and surrounded with crystals. They are in an oval shape and are 1.25″ studs. The bright yellow cuff with the white stripe is a piece of vintage jewelry probably from the 60’s. I have had this cuff for a long time and I enjoy wearing it because of its bright color. The Michael Kors yellow espadrilles were perfect for this look. The wedge heel is very comfortable and the yellow is perfect for spring and summer. You will be surprised how often you will wear a yellow shoe if you get one. They are just fun to wear.
The yellow and white purse is a really old one. It is by Nicole Lee I think. I don’t carry the purse very often and I am not sure why. I like the yellow shoes and wear them all the time so why don’t I carry the yellow handbag? If you can answer that question you know more than I do. Lol!
Ladies, this has already been an amazing adventure and it is only just beginning. I have lots of pictures and I hope a lot of stories but It may take me a few days to have the time to upload and edit the pictures. I just can’t emphasize enough how that one vain decision to look better has made such a HUGE difference in mine and Joe’s life. He was looking around the room when we first got here and said, “I’ve never been to anywhere near this nice!” I am offering you ladies a CANCUN special! Take a leap of faith! Love your outfit! My husband is like Joe. It pains hims to have to sit by the pool or at the beach. He has to be up traveling somewhere. Ziplining hiking something always. When we went to Costa Rica I got 1/2 a day to be by the pool and that was it! Dominican Republic was different, we had 7 days of beach pool and sunshine. That was my kind of trip. You will having an amazing time! So happy for you
