SHIRT DRESS WITH LEGGINGS

Another red, white, and blue outfit just in time for the 4th of July. My daughter tells me that there will a lot of celebrating going on in Juneau over the 4th. It is funny how different parts of the country celebrate certain days more than the other part of the country. I know Savannah, Georgia has a huge St. Patrick’s celebration every year, New Orleans goes all out for Mardi Gras and New York City is the place to be for New Year’s Eve.I have no idea what Ashleigh has in mind for Joe and me to do while we are in Juneau. We went to a glacier, went whale watching, and rode the tram up the mountain the last time we were there. I don’t think I want to go zip lining but you never know. She thinks we are going to go on hikes or play disc golf but I don’t see much of that in my future. Lol!I have never been a huge fan of the shirt dresses but when I saw this one the other day I decided to give it a try. This is a classic style button down and it is so crisp and clean looking. I got this the day went on my shopping spree to Cato’s. It has a subtle pinstripe design and one of my favorite features is the hidden pockets. I really like these red leather hoop earrings. They are the Aleah. They are a 4″ drop and are extremely lightweight. The red, white, and blue jewelry is part of the Plunder specials. The blue cuff is called the Independence, the silver link bracelet is the Liberty Bell and the necklace is the America. I could have worn the dress without any leggings but I decided to go casual with sandals and crop leggings. These leggings are a pair that is ankle length but I hiked them up for the effect I wanted. The bright red sandals are a pair of Marc Fishers that I bought a long time ago. They were in my closet and had gotten kicked up under the pants that were hanging there. I was looking for something else when I found them. I had forgotten all about them and was pleasantly surprised when I found them.Whenever the grandkids are around we have to play with Play-Doh. Matti was very creative and made me several creations. She is extremely talented. I don’t know if I could have done that good.
