SHIRT DRESS WITH LEGGINGS
Another red, white, and blue outfit just in time for the 4th of July. My daughter tells me that there will a lot of celebrating going on in Juneau over the 4th. It is funny how different parts of the country celebrate certain days more than the other part of the country. I know Savannah, Georgia has a huge St. Patrick’s celebration every year, New Orleans goes all out for Mardi Gras and New York City is the place to be for New Year’s Eve.
I have no idea what Ashleigh has in mind for Joe and me to do while we are in Juneau. We went to a glacier, went whale watching, and rode the tram up the mountain the last time we were there. I don’t think I want to go zip lining but you never know. She thinks we are going to go on hikes or play disc golf but I don’t see much of that in my future. Lol!
I have never been a huge fan of the shirt dresses but when I saw this one the other day I decided to give it a try. This is a classic style button down and it is so crisp and clean looking. I got this the day went on my shopping spree to Cato’s. It has a subtle pinstripe design and one of my favorite features is the hidden pockets.
Whenever the grandkids are around we have to play with Play-Doh. Matti was very creative and made me several creations.
Do you know what my number one referrer page is? It is Pinterest! I truly appreciate every time you “pin” a picture. Heck, pin ALL the pictures if you want. Lol! Also, if you would like to share my posts on Facebook or Twitter, I would appreciate that. It helps get my blog out to more people, and I am sure you just want to spread the entertaining sayings I have. Lol! The comment section is at the end of the post, so keep scrolling. I look forward to reading all the comments, they make my day.

I love this! Is there any chance the America necklace is still available? I attempted to find it on the website, but it looks like it may no longer be available. Thank you!
Love the outfit, very comfortable and cute. Love the artwork also, someone is very talented.
Love your outfit & jewelry today- great look for you!
The outfit is really charming! Love the red, white and blue. I think it can be worn all summer, not just for Fourth of July!!! Where do you get your leggings?? I keep forgetting to check the box to show me “new” posts, so if you have answered me before, I apologize!! Thanks!!!
Beth, I don’t have ay particular place that I buy my leggings from. I have some LuLaRoe, some from Wal-Mart, and some from Old Navy and boutiques.
I am a new follower to your blog. I have a question, how do you stay so slim? You always look nice in everything you wear!
I am just really good at camouflaging my weight. Lol! I have also learned the art of posing.
I love that dress and you’ll be styling in Juneau! Enjoy!
Go zip lining, Tania!! My husband & I did it on a business trip he had in North Carolina & it was an absolute blast!! It was much better than the white water rafting excursion we also took that dumped our raft full of people into the French Broad river! Lol I hope you have a fabulous trip to Alaska!!
I like this look.
I have a pair of white leggings that I never wear. Do you think they will look okay under the same shirt dress?
Tania, most clothing with pockets will get a second consideration from me so I completely understand your attraction that the dress. Your whole look seems so easy and comfy but with that edge of chic we all strive to achieve. Your American spirit is shining through.
