SHERPA FOR WARMTH AND STYLE
I have a joke that I made up to tell you gurls. What do people who live in the city and people who live in the mountains have in common? It takes both of them two hours to drive forty miles. You probably don’t find that as funny as I do but I have a story behind my joke. It starts with the things that you will do for your children.
My son in Tennessee decided that for Christmas, as a family gift, they would get a Newfoundland puppy. The breeder where he purchased the dog was only forty miles away from my house. But, when you live in the mountains, you have to remember the roads are not straight. Instead, we hade to go over several mountains, ride beside the river and cross bridges, and encountered a slew of “kiss your butt” curves. If you are not familiar with that term, it means that by the time your car goes around the extremely steep curve you could stick your head out the window and kiss your butt. Lol! I think that you get the idea. Haha. We went prepared to have a car sick puppy on our way home. We took baby wipes, paper towels, and even a dog seat cover just in case he threw up. However, we were pleasantly surprised since he made it home just fine. I thought you might want to meet Koda (because he looks like a Kodiac bear) and some of his new family.
He will only be eight weeks old on Sunday. He is going to be HUGE!
These photos are some that have been on my camera for a couple of weeks, and I figured that I needed to show them to you before Spring rolls around. Lol! I wore red yesterday, and I thought I might as well continue the theme today. This sherpa lined vest is one that I bought last year, and I love the colors of the plaid design. I have worn this with jeans, brown, and black pants and it looks equally as good with each of those. That is the beauty of wearing an item with multiple colors.

Love the outfit. Can you tell me the make of the vest. I’d love to try and find one for myself.
