PINK IS MY FAVORITE COLOR
I thought I was busy the other day, but after the day that I have had today, I know better. The accountant is coming to the lumber company on Thursday to bring the corporation taxes to us because they are due on the 15th of March. I figured that I might as well try to get all of our personal taxes together so that I could give them to him when he was there. OH, MY WORD! My neck is now tight and tense, and my shoulders are all tied in knots.
I worked in an accounting office over 30 years ago, but I can’t remember it being this big a pain in the rear trying to get all of the information tallied together. I keep receipts all year long for my online businesses, but I could do a better job at keeping them categorized. Instead, I have a huge bag that I throw everything into once the small bag that I keep in my purse gets filled with receipts. How is that for a system? Lol! So, today, I separated all of the receipts into piles for different businesses. Then, I highlighted all credit card expenses on the invoices, and finally, I totaled each of the 4,000 piles. Every year I swear that I am going to do a better job at keeping all of my paperwork together, and every year I lie. I am not going to say that I will do better, but I am going to say that I am going to “try” to do better. Do any of you have a system for keeping things together on a monthly basis? If not, does anyone want to come and give me a neck massage? LOL!
Before you read any further, I want you to listen to this song. Haha! That is going to be stuck in your head for the rest of the day. I thought that considering my choice of colors for the past 2 days, the song seemed appropriate. Lol! I am enjoying the sunshine and the 70-degree temperatures today, especially since they may not last for very long. Joe told me that my blazer almost hurt his eyes since it was sooooo pink. Lol! This blazer is by Focus 2000 and I don’t have a clue where I got it from or how long that I have had it in my closet. Pink is a happy color, and who doesn’t want to be happy?
Since I shared a couple of Reverse before and afters yesterday, I though I would share a few from the Redefine regimen on today’s post. I have a lot of people message me and ask which regimen they should use. I was hoping that the photos might let you see which regimen works for what. You can still feel free to message me at any time with your questions.

I knew exactly where the shirt came from the moment I opened your post! I have one in paisley also, as well as several in solid colors. They go with everything. I enjoy your posts and look forward to receiving the email each time.
Thanks, Tania!

Beutiful pink outfit! I too love that color. And Luci Lu looks so cute in the photos. I love the countryside around there! I too am no good at keeping receipts organized.
Since you asked, I just want to mention how I handle receipts. I have a small plastic accordion organizer and I keep my receipts separated by the stores that I go to the most often, like Target, Sprouts, etc. I keep oddball receipts separated by category, like shoe stores, home improvement stores, etc. I don’t have a business, so I get rid of receipts after items can no longer be returned. I also have a separate accordion organizer for store gift cards and I keep both organizers in a pretty TJ Maxx shopping bag that I toss receipts in for a week or so, and then sort them into their respective pockets. If I have to return something or I want to use a gift card, I just take the shopping bag in the car with me.
Lady, you are way better organized than I ever thought about being!!! Way to go!
Love this outfit so much! I like to wear color! I am 47, so not too far from 50. I love receiving your emails daily and getting idea’s. You look great!
Thanks, Kerry! I am so glad that you like the emails!
Yep, Tania, that’s my style. Love the colors.
Tania, have you ever had your colors done? Like Color Me Beautiful ( 4 Seasons ) or Pretty Your World ( 12 Seasons- 4 season variation)?? I have and it has really helped me choosing the colors that work with my personal coloring. You can do it yourself online ( at either of those sites and many others) . I am a Summer/Soft Summer and always thought I was a Winter but the colors were too bold. You look like a Spring to me…but I’m not an expert.
Lucy is adorable! So is your tabby cat. That song is weird – not my favorite but I do like “I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing” by Aerosmith. You’re pretty in pink!
Pretty in pink!! You have an adorable dog! I have also have a dog named Lucy Lu.
Love the bold pink in this outfit. Such a pretty shirt. You look fabulous as always. – Love – Jill x
