PAPER GOWNS ARE NOT STYLISH
Today was the day. It was time for my yearly checkup from the dermatologist. I go once a year to be looked over for moles and anything that might look suspicious. The dermatologist is a little more than an hour away so I had time to listen to music and just think. The cell service stinks in that area so trying to talk on the phone if useless. Once I got to the office and signed in I grabbed my phone though and plugged back into the world. Lol! I looked around at over 20 people in the waiting room and I was grateful that I had a full battery because I figured I was in for a long wait.
I even posted on Facebook which got me to thinking about the “old” days. You remember, the days before we all had smartphones. What did we do to keep us entertained as we waited in offices? Reading seemed to be the number 1 activity we did, such as looking at magazines. I can also remember taking Suduko and Crossword puzzles and working on those while I waited. Someone mentioned talking! What??? Have an actual face to face conversation with a stranger? Lol!
I didn’t have to wait to long before they called me in and then had me don the wonderfully fashionable paper gown. I kept thinking that I needed to tell them they need to buy a more fashionable gown, they could at least buy them in colors. Lol! I guess I will have to wait till next year to see if they take my suggestion, everything was normal. Hahaha!
I bought this dress a couple of weeks ago when I did so much shopping at Cato Fashions. I really bought it because I love the color and I knew that I had a vest that would look really cute with it. You will get to see that look the next time. This has a cute cutout on the shoulder but since I have on the infinity scarf, also from Cato, you can’t see that feature. This is made in a swing or A-line style that is easy for most people to wear. Those who are larger chested might have more of a problem wearing this style than others.
I did it for the skincare. Yes, it’s true, I originally became a Consultant for R+F because I wanted the steeper discount on the products. My days of laying in the sun with baby oil and iodine have come back to haunt me with a vengeance. Why did I listen waaaay back then? Why didn’t someone say that your skin will look like leather, you will get sun spots, and that you would get to make yearly visits to the dermatologist? Oh, wait. they did, but I didn’t listen!!! When I was told me about R+F and that I could try the products and/or the business with a 60-day money back guarantee. Nothing to lose for me but those pesky brown spots.
Have you ever wondered why I would ask you to sign up for my email subscription? I know that you may access me from another way like FaceBook or Instagram but “brands” like to see a large email subscription list. So, I am asking you to sign up if you don’t mind, it would really help me. The comment section is at the end of the post, so keep scrolling. I look forward to reading all the comments, they make my day. Be sure to follow me on Pinterest, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook.

In the not-too-distant past you wore a necklace with something like: His will, His way, His time……Looking for it!!! Where can I find it again?

Shoes not for me! Love the color of the dress. I have been searching for that color to add to my fall wardrobe. Glad that appt is behind you.
Sandy, I love the old gold color of the dress too. It is funny how one person says they would kill for the shoes and you don’t like the shoes. Lol! Everyone is different.
I would kill for those shoes??
Haha! I do love the shoes!!!
