Since I started the blog I send out a ton of mail. I mean the old fashion snail mail that we all grew up with. I mail out giveaways at least once a month for the blog, I send out samples almost weekly for Rodan + Fields and I send out discount checks all the time. Occasionally, I will mail a package to Canada, Australia, and even Great Britain. I guess I have been blessed because I have never had an issue until now.A blog reader asked me to send her something. She wasn’t able to purchase it herself since the company would not ship it to Canada. So, I made the purchase and had it shipped to me. She sent the payment to me and I mailed it out. That was June 12th! I honestly just figured she had gotten the package until last week when she and I were talking about something else and she mentioned that it hadn’t gotten there yet. I immediately started tracking the package and found out that it had been sitting in Chicago, IL for about 2 weeks and it was now on its way to Knoxville, TN. WHAT? That is not the way to Canada. I assumed that it was coming back to me for some reason and I have been watching for it. Today I decided to check on it again because it still hasn’t shown up and I found out that it has been on a crazy ride. The package has been to Charleston, WV, Chicago, IL, Knoxville, TN, Louisville, KY, West Palm Beach, FL, back to Chicago, IL, and to two different places in Canada. It actually went to Canada back at the end of June before it went back to Chicago for the third time. I feel like I am on a post office version of, “Where’s Waldo?” Is this outfit too blah? I have just been in a “plain Jane” kind of mood lately. I am into wearing solids and I didn’t even feel like adding a cardigan or anything today. I love this white tank top because of how flowy it is and of course because of the lace hem. This is about as romantic looking as it comes. I wore this top last year with pink and yellow and it was super cute. The top is by Karen Kane and I love the chiffon overlay.
I even went kind of simple on my jewelry. I have a pair of Esme pearl and crystal earrings on. These earrings are subtle but they also are very elegant looking. You could wear this pair with jeans or with your favorite little black dress. I chose them because I think they mimic the rhinestone circle in the Lyric necklace. I thought the little accents of blue in the necklace matched my pants perfectly. The bracelet on the left is one of Plunders magnetic bracelets that I love. Coordination is not my middle name so these bracelets are wonderful to get on and off. The Corey is a boho lovers dream bracelet. Beads, leather, tassels, and charms are all wrapped up in one colorful bracelet. I call the Eviebracelet my lady bug bracelet. Lol! If it was red and black it would look just like one. Haha!I am not really fond of these shoes. I like the watercolor pattern all right and I do love the cork wedge heel but the strap across my toes hits me at the wrong spot. They rub my toes and they end up hurting before the day is over. These are going in my get rid of bag as soon as I take them off. Lol! I don’t mind a little pain when something really looks good but these were mediocre at best.
Pale blue is one of my favorite colors for summer. I think this color reminds me of going to the pool or maybe even the ocean. Either way, it just seems relaxing. This pair of pants was a pair I bought back a year or so ago at Stein Mart. Most of the time I can’t remember where I buy something if it has been that long ago but I remember going shopping at Stein Mart when I was on a woman’s club trip. This pair is not as tight fitting as the Pixie Pants and for those who don’t like your pants to fit as close, this would be a good option.
July is almost over. I can’t believe it has gone by so fast! I blinked my eye and August is right around the bend. It has been a great month for me in my R+F business. I have gotten so many nice emails from ladies who are loving the products, I still am getting people stop and ask me about my lashes, I have been blessed to add many new ladies to my team and I am really enjoying getting to know them personally, and Joe is still giving me compliments on my skin. We were on our way home from church on Sunday and he looked at me as we stopped the car. “I swear you don’t have any wrinkles at all, that stuff is crazy.” I, of course, said thank you with a great big kiss and then told him it wasn’t “stuff.” Lol! I ordered him in a regimen and sat it on his bathroom sink. So far he has completely ignored it but I am hoping over the weekend that I can try to talk him into using it. If he sees the same results that I have he will be shouting from the rooftops. Haha! I can’t wait to show his before and afters but don’t tell him that I said that. He would NEVER do it if he thought that was going to happen.

I’m a new subscriber and am really enjoying your blogs! Have you done any blogs about what the right colors are for your skin/hair type? I am becoming a winter and used to be a summer (growing out my gray!) so just curious if you talk about colors at all 🙂
The top is so so pretty and looks perfect with the blue.

Marcia, I have never had my colors done. I really have no idea if I wear the correct colors for my skin tone.
