Outfits For Late Summer You’re Going To Love
This is the time of year when we are in limbo. Much of the country is still in a heat wave, while some are starting to experience a slight chill in the air. How has this year gone by so quickly?!? Today, I’m styling FOUR outfits for late summer that you can also wear this fall.
I love this striped v-neck blouse, and I’ve worn it multiple times this summer. It looks great with chinos, but it also looks great with jeans and shorts. To wear this in the “outfits for late summer” category, I would add a cardigan and lightweight jacket in the mornings and evenings when it gets more relaxed.
This quilted crossbody is for those wanting a pop of color without spending a fortune! This cute crossbody is a great size and comes in lots of colors. I own it in black and sands also. I love the tassel detail, which looks very similar to YSL bags.

These light tan chino pants fit well and are a great neutral. They will go with pretty much everything, so you should get your money’s worth out of them.
I LOVE this shade of green! Look how it pops against the dark-wash jeans.
There isn’t anything I don’t love about this sweater tank. The straps are wide, so you don’t have to worry about your bra straps showing which is a nice plus. The pointelle design is pretty, and if you are worried about it being see-through, wear a nude bra or camisole.
Adding the stretch denim jacket (my favorite) is an easy way to move this look into the outfits for late summer category.
This leather tote by AllSaints is gorgeous, and I love the size. The tan color is sold out, but it is still available in black. I bought a smaller AllSaints black bag, and I love the smaller size. It is the perfect size crossbody, and the leather feels so soft! The smaller bag is still available in this tan color.
This is my kind of outfit. It doesn’t touch my tummy and is cute as a button.
I wasn’t sure I would like this top, but the Swiss dots and the details on the yoke won me over. The flowy top is lightweight and perfect for hot summer days. I love that it has sleeves that cover my upper arm, which many women my age prefer.
Here is a better photo of the details on the yoke.
And, here is the look from behind.

These jeans aren’t quite as bright blue as they appear here. The jeans are relaxed and slightly baggy, and I love that they are a pull-on style. They are sized small, medium, large, etc., and I purchased a large. However, they are too loose, so I should have bought a medium instead.
I’m loving all shades of brown for fall. This is unusual for me, but you’ll see lots of browns on the blog before long.
This knit spaghetti strap tank is also lighter in the photos than in person. It is more of a tan/beige, and it is a great neutral. I love this tank, and I’ll wear it year-round. I never take tanks out of my closet when changing seasons since they can be worn under cardigans, sweaters, and jackets for fall and winter.

These are the same jeans as the ones above but in Pecan Brown. They are also too large on me, so I reordered a medium to see if that size is better. Those will be arriving tomorrow, so I’ll send one of them back. I’m wild about this color, it is unusual, and I can’t wait to style it for fall.
I will wear these jeans with boots this fall, but I wore them with a pair of leather light natural block heel pumps for now. I have these pumps in black also, and I love the fit, style, and stability of the block heels.
So, which of the FOUR outfits for late summer is your favorite?

Those jeans – and the colors! I am excited for fall to get here.
The green sweater vest ouu lala! Also like the white flowy top and the pecan brown jeans!
That white Swiss blouse looks nice on you! I also like the last outfit on you, the pecan colored jeans! Love the jean color, I like the wide leg jeans but I have a hard time finding any that aren’t a mile long on me!! I need to be 3” taller 😂
That’s what high heels are for. Lol. My sister is 5’2” and she bought some recently at the Nordstrom sale and got them to alter them. 😀
I like the blue stripe but wish it had sleeves. My favorite is the white. I love everything about it. I don’t really like green and I never wear thin straps but I love the peach color and agree it would be great for fall.
A great jean jacket always pulls a look together! Your outfits styled with a jacket are my favorites. Love the kelly- green top/vest with the jacket! Thanks!

Fall seems a far off dream right now, but thanks for the ideas.
Ooooooo love the pecan jeans-that is a new color and since I LOVE pink I think I will order this asap! I’ll try the medium since I think I am similarly sized as you.
