ORANGE AND MAROON
I almost couldn’t wear this outfit, it was really, really was hard. Does anybody have any idea why this University of Tennessee fan would have a hard time wearing this outfit??? Lol! I wore this to church and I had at least 5 or 6 people come up to me and tell me they loved my outfit. They were all Virginia Tech fans. Hahaha! I can’t help it if I am a Tennessee girl living in a Virginia world.
Don’t get me wrong, I don’t know anybody that attends UT and I have never met Peyton Manning. There is really no reason that I should be a UT fan other than the fact that I was born in Tennessee. Isn’t it funny how you can root and pull for one team or another, and that extends to professional teams also? I used to love the Minnesota Vikings because I liked Fran Tarkenton. I have always been a football fan and will watch a game if I sit down long enough. Haha, I have only been to one professional game and it was pre-season. I know it was the Baltimore Ravens but I can’t remember who they played. I just remember not being too impressed because they just seemed to lolly-gag around and not really even try. It was probably because it was pre-season. I did go see a professional basketball game and it was in Washington. I went to see Michael Jordan right before he retired but they didn’t seem too intense either. The professional baseball games I have been to have been better than the football or the basketball, but baseball can be a little boring.
This print cardigan is one by Isaac Mizrahi and I bought it at the overstock store in town. Several of you have asked the name, address, telephone number, etc. They do not have a website but they do have a Facebook page. The Outlet Store is the name. I knew the minute I bought this cardigan that it was Virginia Tech colors but I bought it anyway. I like the colors and I like the print. Here are a couple cute cardigans by Isaac Mizrahi and they are not a bad price.
My Dooney & Bourke satchel purse has been a good one. When you invest money in a purse like this you know that you can carry it for a long time. It is very sturdy and even though I am not easy on my purses, it has held up and still looks great.
Joe and I are off to the Big Easy. Is that what they still call New Orleans? Anyway, that is where I am headed. You know I never have any posts done ahead of time so we will have to see what I can come up with. That is why I thought I might do a “favorites” post. Maybe one on some of my favorite outfits, maybe one on Plunder and one of Rodan and Fields and the business associated with each. I may and then again I might just upload a bunch of photos from the trip. I have a tendency to be having so much fun that I forget to take photos, I guess we will all just have to wait and see.
Did you sign up for the Bvlgari eau de toilette? Go here to enter.

Love the whole outfit! You look great!
I love this outfit and how the colors work together. Sure, I can see where Virginia Tech fans would be all over the skirt and top color, but it looks amazing with that cardigan. The whole look is super slimming and I thought at first it was a dress! Great with the boots and the bag, this one is a winner for sure!!
I just happened to have a sweater that matched the skirt. That always creates a slimming look.
Have a fabulous time in New Orleans, guys!! Eat a beignette for me!
And what a fun color combo. I just did a burgundy & red and thought I was being crazy…ha ha!!

I never would have thought of wearing orange and maroon together but I have seen it around quite a bit and really like it. I have also seen maroon with red, another no-no in the past, but I do like that combo as well.
Hi Tania – you’ve done the matching thing, that’s why this outfit is so great – look at your nails and the dress and then bag and shoes – all super fab!!!

It really looks great with the burgundy dress. Glad you persevered.
Great outfit, I’m getting braver with colour since reading your blog.
This outfit is well coordinated and looks great on you; however, I’m just not a fan of orange but do like the
burgundy sweater & skirt. Bag, boots and jewelry coordinate beautifully too. Need to into the Plunder jewelry ( I have 2 sets that I bought from a neighbor who is a rep. and I really like the style & price!
