On Cloud Sneakers: Are They Worth It?
Gurls, yesterday we explored Amazon’s Bestselling white sneakers, so today, let’s talk about On Cloud sneakers! You know I love a good comfy shoe, especially one that looks stylish too. On Cloud sneakers have been all the rage lately, and I keep seeing runners, gym-goers, and even lifestyle wearers raving about them. So today, I’m answering the question – On Cloud Sneakers: Are They Worth It?
I’m showing you a ton of options for just about every activity. If you’re looking for a running shoe, trainers for gym workouts, or just an everyday sneaker, On Cloud shoes have something for everyone. So, let’s check out some of the most popular styles and see what makes each one special!
On Cloud Sneakers: Are They Worth It?
If you love feeling like you’re walking on marshmallows while still looking sporty and stylish, then yes! The biggest difference between On Cloud and other brands? That signature CloudTec® sole. Those little pods on the bottom aren’t just for show—they compress with each step, giving you a soft landing and a springy push-off. Perfect for running errands, taking a walk, or just looking like you have your life together at the coffee shop. They’re on the pricier side, but if comfort is king (or queen in our case, ha!), then I say they’re a solid investment.
I have been looking for a pair of sneakers that is versatile since I plan on walking outside as well as indoors. Plus, I wanted something lightweight and with good cushioning. I ended up ordering the Cloud X 4 Training Shoe, and so far, I love them. I ordered my usual size 9 in the shoes, and my toes have plenty of wiggle room. These shoes come in another color, but I ended up going with white and black to go with any outfit that I decide to wear. I also love the ventilation at the toes and sides to give your feet a chance to breathe.
On Women’s Cloudmonster Sneakers
If you’re after max cushioning, the Cloudmonster is a winner! These shoes are designed with Helion superfoam in the midsole, making them great for long distances and soft landings. The “CloudTec” sole gives an extra bounce, which is great for runners or anyone on their feet all day. Anyone heading to Disney this year? The upper is breathable, so your feet don’t overheat, and the lacing keeps everything snug. They come in a ton of different color combos if you don’t love the white and black.
On Running Cloud 5 Low-Top Sneakers
I’m loving the white on white, and I think they look less bulky than some of the other options. The Cloud 5 sneakers are all about lightweight comfort. These are perfect for lifestyle wear but also work well for gym workouts or short runs. The cushioning adapts to your stride. How?? By compressing when your foot lands and then springing back as you push off.
The individual pods (or “clouds”) on the sole move independently, meaning they respond to the way you walk or run—absorbing impact where you need it and giving a little extra bounce when you push forward. See? I do my research, Gurls! The midsole compresses slightly on impact, which helps reduce strain on your joints. Plus, they’re easy to slip on and off thanks to the unique speed lacing system—no tying and retying needed.
On Women’s Cloudsurfer Next Running Shoes
Calling all runners! The Cloudsurfer is specially designed for smooth transitions and a cushioned ride. (To be honest, I’ve tried running a time or two, and I was less concerned with smooth transitions and more worried about breathing, lol.) But if you’re into that sort of thing, these have an outsole that grips well on pavement, making them a good choice for running on pavement.
The toe box is roomy enough for natural foot movement, which is VERY important as we age, and the breathable upper keeps things cool. If you’re purchasing your first pair of On Shoes and want something soft yet responsive, these are a great starting point. Plus, they come in a variety of colors to match your running gear.
For those who love a mix of sporty and casual, the Cloudnova 2 is a great option. These have a snug, sock-like upper with a padded tongue for extra comfort. The heel is made to offer stability without feeling stiff, making it a good option for all-day wear. These run true to size and have great reviews, so if you’re on your feet a lot, don’t pass on these.
On Women’s Cloudmonster 2 Running Shoes
I thought I’d change things up a bit and let you see them on a human. 🙂 The Cloudmonster 2 takes everything great about the original (above) and steps it up a notch. The foam in the midsole provides extra support and energy return, making them good for both short runs and long distances. The outsole grips well on pavement, and the wider toe box gives your feet room to move. They have other colors but I’m a fan of the white with blue combo.
On Women’s Cloudpulse Training Shoes
More research, Gurls! This is the first OnCloud shoe designed especially for cross-training. AND, they’re called stability shoes because they have a wider base for support, and firmer, reinforced clouds on the medial (inner) side of the shoe to prevent too much inward foot movement. Plus, they look sleek enough to wear outside the gym, too!
On Women’s Cloud 5 Waterproof Shoes
Rainy days? No problem! The Cloud 5 Waterproof keeps your feet dry without sacrificing comfort. I don’t want to exercise on a good day, much less with wet feet! The rubber outsole grips well on wet surfaces, and the CloudTec sole still delivers that signature soft landing feel. These are great for walking, running, or just running errands when the weather isn’t cooperating.
On Women’s The Roger Clubhouse Shoes
Inspired by tennis legend Roger Federer, these sneakers are perfect for everyday wear. The leather upper gives them a polished look, while the cushioning inside keeps them comfy. The heel padding provides extra support, making them great for long hours on your feet. If you want a sneaker that blends sporty with sophisticated, The Roger Clubhouse is a great pick. Roger Federer is known for his tennis, but second to that is his style. This is a solid Yes from me.
On Women’s Roger Pro Hard Court Tennis Shoes
Tennis players (and my sister!), this one’s for you! The Roger Pro is designed for quick movements and stability on the court. The midsole provides great energy return, while the outsole offers excellent grip on hard courts. The toe box is reinforced for durability, making them last through intense matches. If you’re looking for a performance tennis shoe that doesn’t skimp on comfort, these are a great option.
So, Gurls, are On Cloud Sneakers worth it? If you’re after lightweight, cushioned, and stylish sneakers, I’d say yes! Whether you’re a runner, gym-goer, or just want a comfy lifestyle shoe, there’s an On Shoe for you. Which pair is calling your name? Let me know in the comments! Ha!

OM Gosh, I FINALLY found one! I was beginning to think I was pretty stinky at this game. I am glad you covered these shoes. I have tendonitis on the tops of my feet and have had plantar fasciitis, I was wondering if these would help as I am on my feet all day long. The older I get, the worse the problem seems to be.
Found it! Had to scroll through 5 times.

FOUND IT. Actually found both today while reading the post. I usually read and search for them after. Maybe I’m getting better. I love the low-top shoes. I can’t deal with sneakers that go up to the top of my foot. One day I’m going to be able to splurge on OnClouds. I haven’t yet because I don’t wear sneakers enough to justify it.
Also, I’ve noticed something and wonder if anyone else has. Usually when I click a link to a product, it opens in a new window. Lately, it just goes to the site and to get back to you, I have to go “back.” Does that make sense? Has anyone else had this issue or is it some kind of setting that changed on my browser?
Sheli, they are all supposed to open in a new window. I even have a plugin that is supposed to make sure that it does.

The Cloudpulse Training Shoes look interesting. I wonder if they are good for people that have previously had plantar fasciitis?
I’m not sure, Angela.
Found it! I don’t like the look of OC even though they are probably super comfortable

I’m not sure if I just chose the wrong pair but I just purchased a pair of these and wore them yesterday and they are the most uncomfortable sneakers I’ve ever worn. My left foot especially hurt and they won’t stay tied! I’m returning them but like I said, I may have just chosen the wrong pair.

Found it! I have the On Cloud Cloudrunner, and wore they out in 18 months. But I wore them 3 – 4 x a week for workouts, walking and running, great support, great arch support. I was able to walk and even run in them, no ankle rolling. I am replacing them, even though they still look really good, I can tell the support is worn out, because plantar fasciitis is acting up, and knee and hip are starting to ache. I highly recommend these shoes.

Found it! Your review is so timely as I have been wondering about these shoes. 🙂

What an awesome scripture verse! Another one of my favorites. I have not tried ON sneakers yet because I have narrow feet with a super narrow heel which means that slip on footwear does not stay on my feet. I really like the low profile style, but I need to be able to tie them.

i love On Cloud shoes. I have 4 pair and usually opt for the cloud 5 for everyday and I have another style for gym ( more cushion heel but not sure which one) . My feet are shot having had a job for 34 years where I was on my feet all day, I’ve had plantar fascitis surgery on both feet and metatarsal surgery on one. These on cloud shoes are the only ones I can wear and not need orthotics.
I’m glad to hear that On Cloud shoes work for you. Your feet took a beating after 34 years, and they deserve to be pampered.
