OFF WHITE FOR A CLASSY STYLE
Wow! I can’t believe that the year is almost gone. It is time to start doing a little reflecting on the past year and a little planning for the upcoming year. I want to start a journal this year so that I can look back over it from year to year and see what happened throughout the year. You would think that I could do that with my blog but I am talking about doing a Gratitude Journal.
I am going to participate in a group on Facebook that will be walking us through a book called The Magic by Rhonda Bryne. The actual start date of this group will not be until January 8th so if you would like to join us then go here to join the group, order your book, and get a journal. This is a 28-day journey that is supposed to help to make us more aware of what we have and what we are thankful for. I hope to continue the journey for the remainder of the year and not just for the 28 days. I peeked ahead a few chapters and I saw that at night before you go to sleep that you need to think of one thing that day that you were the most thankful for. Last night as I was thinking about that it was easy to think of. I was laying in bed with 2 of my grandbabies all snuggled beside me that I don’t get to see or visit very often. I said the magic words, thank you, thank you, thank you!
I wanted to show you another outfit from my recent Trunk Club shipment. This off-the-shoulder sweater by Vince Camuto is very feminine and flattering. I love the winter white color of the sweater because it is easier for me to wear than white which can be stark. The cable-knit design has been a favorite of mine for years and I am drawn to this pattern, I think it looks “fancy.” Lol! The folded neckline can be adjusted to your taste, lower or even higher depending on your comfort level. I am still trying to decide if I am going to keep this sweater because I already own one or two similar sweaters. This is a size medium and I am surprised that it fits me since I will normally order a large.
Once again I decided to not wear a lot of jewelry. In my mind, I am styling this outfit for a date night out or for a New Year’s Eve celebration. I thought that something a little dressy would look good with this sweater so I went with the Hannah necklace and the Ginger bracelet. This jewelry set is in gold tone and it has a lot of sparkle factor with all the crystals. I usually prefer a longer necklace but there are occasions when a choker style is what is called for.
I think white on white or in this case off-white on off-white is so classy looking. My daughter said the whites were not the same but I think she is wrong, I think this looked great together. These pants are old and I think I bought them from Stein Mart a long time ago. The last time that I could find them on the blog was about this time 2 years ago! (see here) I guess that shows you that I don’t wear trouser styled pants very often, but they really make an outfit look so much nicer. The fact that I work in a lumber company could be part of the reason I don’t wear this style a lot. Lol!

Have you ever wondered why I end every blog with a paragraph about Rodan + Fields? The biggest reason is that I LOVE the products and the company. I “see” the difference it has made in my skin and I want that for you. I also know that after 15 months of working this as a “business” that I was able to surpass the salary that it took me 22 years to get while working at the lumber company. I know that my trips that I have taken for my business are tax deductible, I know that I have gotten thousands of dollars in incentive rewards, and if I am able to get 2 more “miles” this month then I will be rewarded by a trip to Cancun for two this April. All of this has come about in 15 months. If you are thinking, “But, I don’t have a blog,” don’t worry. I don’t know of another single person who is doing this business that has a blog. They are just like you, they decided to take a chance and see if they could look better AND earn a little money on the way. What is holding you back??? Just email me and I will tell you the truth about this business. If it is not for you then I’ll be honest about that too. Send the email to www.fiftyisnotold@gmail.com
There is also something I WANT and NEED: I have added a subscription button to the blog, right under the recent posts tab. I would appreciate it if you would take the time to sign up. You will then be notified by email when a new post is made.

This is stunning on you. I vote keep the sweater. I’d love to see it styled with a metallic shoe maybe instead of the black.
Very classy look! And I love the new grattitude journal and will join you.
I love winter white, Tania, and you look stunning today! I just ordered the book and will join the FB group. Happy New Year to you and yours.
You look gorgeous in this outfit!!!
That outfit looks gorgeous on you!
This is such a beautiful and classy outfit, Tania! Yes, I can see not wanting to wear this to a lumberyard, but it would be perfect to wear to church during the winter months, maybe with a colorful poncho or wrap of some sort. I giggled a bit when I looked at the first photo, where you are posing Minnie Pearl style, with the price tag showing. Then after I read your post, I understood that you haven’t decided whether to keep the sweater or not. It does help to read and not just look at the pretty pictures, doesn’t it? lol Have a great day!!!
Love the outfit can’t wait for my book to arrive
Love this outfit!
Tania you look gorgeous in this outfit!! So simple but so classy and the jewelry you chose is perfect. What type of bra or cami do you wear with this type off the shoulder sweater? I’m always looking for the right “underthings” that are good for see through or thin type sweaters! Thanks! I love your blog!!
You look like a million bucks! Happy New Year!
