50 IS NOT OLD | NEW YEAR'S EVE OUTFITThis year is slowly coming to an end. This is a time of year when we look back and reflect on what we have done. As always there are highs and lows, good times and bad, and plenty of lessons that were learned. We can now look forward with high expectations of the coming new year. I can remember sitting by my radio and listening to the countdown of the year’s top hits. 50 IS NOT OLD | NEW YEAR'S EVE OUTFITBack in those days I would get my cassette recorder out and try to time it just right so that I could get all the song recorded without all the jabber from the DJ. I thought I was so cool. The next time I went to school I would tell everyone about my tape. We would compare our versions and try to decide who had done the best job. Lol! In middle Tennessee “the” radio program to listen to came out of Chicago. From memory, I am thinking it was something like WLS. Do you gurls remember Wolfman Jack???50 IS NOT OLD | NEW YEAR'S EVE OUTFITFor the first time in many, many, many years, Joe and I will actually be at a New Year’s Eve party. We normally are in bed by 10:00, (11:00 if we are living on the wild side) so I think we might have to try to get some sleep on Saturday during the day. Haha! Otherwise, you might me sound asleep on the couch that is in the women’s locker room. There is a live band that is coming to play for us and breakfast is going to be served at midnight. 50 IS NOT OLD | NEW YEAR'S EVE OUTFITThis is an outfit that I think would be fantastic for a New Year’s Eve party. It is elegant and sparkly but it is also comfortable for dancing. This sequined snake print tank top is by Karen Kane and it is at least 3 or 4 years old. I have NEVER worn it! I have never worn it because it was too little for me. I did a happy dance this morning and went running through the house to show Joe that it fit! He was more interested in why I didn’t yet have on my pants. He told me that was an interesting look for the blog. Lol!!!

50 IS NOT OLD | NEW YEAR'S EVE OUTFIT I have on my Georgia bracelet for the first time. I have had this for a while but it is not something that I would normally wear for every day. I see a lot of people use this bracelet for weddings and bridesmaids. The snakeskin clutch is one that I bought at the QVC overstock outlet that is in town.

50 IS NOT OLD | NEW YEAR'S EVE OUTFIT I know you are sick of these bracelets but I really like them. They just seem to go with EVERYTHING! Hugo, Kylie, and Ezra are their names.
50 IS NOT OLD | NEW YEAR'S EVE OUTFITMy necklace is called the Martha. It was one of my first purchases from Plunder. I have worn it several times since I bought it. The matching bracelet is the Edith but I decided against wearing it today. I couldn’t tell you what earrings I have on because I can’t see them. The black velvet blazer is by Izod. I looked back on my blog to see where I wore it (here) and was surprised to see where I bought the blazer. A thrift store for only $5.00! That is one of my favorite blog posts since I have been blogging. Be sure to check out the post.50 IS NOT OLD | NEW YEAR'S EVE OUTFITI have a pair of skinny jeans on and a pair of black booties by Marc Fisher. The jeans are mid-rise jeans from Old Navy and I bought the boots at the overstock store in town.

50 IS NOT OLD | NEW YEAR'S EVE OUTFITThe Lash Boost holiday special from Rodan and Fields officially ends on Monday, if supplies last. I think the Lash Boost will still be available at the same price, you just won’t get the free Lashes bag and mini eye cream. If you were thinking about ordering it anyway, then you might as well take advantage of the free items while they are available. ALSO, if you place an order as a PC, I will refund you $10.00!!!

Can you see yourself (or your daughter or granddaughters) taking advantage of an opportunity to “partner” with me? You can join with me on a journey that could be life changing. I am interested in taking on new business partners. I am interested in seeing where these opportunities can take me. SO, I am willing to help you join with me.

Joining Plunder is 99.00. That is not a huge amount of money for starting your own business but I want to make it even easier. If you join Plunder with me, I will offer to pay half of your kit back to you. If you are interested, then email me for the details at fiftyisnotold@gmail.com

Joining Rodan and Fields has three levels you can join at. If you join me in my business with at least the 395.00 kit, I will also offer to reimburse you half of your kit back to you. You could start a business and only have 200.00 invested, email me for the details at fiftyisnotold@gmail.com

Opportunities come in different forms and sometimes they come when we aren’t even looking. I can tell you honestly that I am so glad I decided to blindly follow my instincts, even though I had no idea where it was taking me. I can’t wait to see where it is taking me next. Come join me.

Anytime you would like to share my posts on Facebook or Twitter, I would appreciate that. It helps get my blog out to more people, and I am sure you just want to spread the entertaining sayings I have. Lol!
