My Favorite Things Holiday Gift Guide – Fashions

I wanted to start off my favorite things holiday gift guides for Fashion, Beauty, and Home with fashion. Fashion is where my passion lies, so starting there is the logical choice.

I had been wanting a diamond cross necklace, so when I saw the Large Cross 14k Yellow Gold Pendant Necklace go on sale, I grabbed it. I gave it to myself as a “you deserve it” gift, and I love it! It has replaced the 18Kt. Gold Vermeil one as my everyday necklace. It has been at least two years, and it still looks like new.

I love this Wrangler Women’s Denim Jacket, and you see me wearing it all the time! It’s perfect for throwing over a graphic tee or styling over a dress, making it a staple wardrobe item in the spring and fall. For a more polished look, try your denim jacket over a button-down shirt. I especially love a crisp white shirt or even a plaid one for some fun fall flair. You can pair this look with black jeans or pants for a sharp yet relaxed outfit.

I received a Brahmin Finley Small Croc Leather Satchel for Valentine’s Day from my husband, and I LOVE the quality and workmanship of this special bag. You can see it styled with one of my outfits here.

The brown floral Vermillion Vine Sawyer Blouse blouse (medium) is ideal for fall! The MOTHER wide-leg jeans in size 29 have become my favorite wide-leg jeans. They have an awesome retro 70s vibe with a high-rise waist and wide legs, making them super flattering. The denim is soft and has just the right amount of stretch, so they’re comfortable to wear all day.

This striped cardigan is a cozy, lightweight option for cooler weather. It reminds me of the lady jacket trend we talked about last year. It’s easy to pair with jeans or a dress for any occasion, from casual days to more polished looks. This genuine suede leather tote bag by Fossil is perfect for carrying all your essentials.

I own this short sleeve cable knit in another color. Since I loved it so much, I couldn’t resist adding the rust red to my cart! I think it looks so much more expensive than it is. Plus, it has held up well with washing and drying. This is a great transition piece you can start wearing now if you’re itching to pull out your fall colors and textures since the short sleeves will keep you cool and comfy.

I am a sucker for cable knit winter sweaters! The cable knit design is a classic pattern that is beautiful and stylish, and like many of you, I have been sporting them for decades. I’m wearing a medium, and it fits me great.

Okay, can we talk about how gorgeous these suede boots are? The sandstone color is perfect for fall, and the sleek design adds a touch of elegance to any outfit. These boots are versatile enough to dress up or down. The stacked heel gives you that extra bit of height without sacrificing comfort, which is a total game changer. These boots look effortlessly chic for brunch, running errands, or planning a fall date night.

There’s just something about suede boots that screams fall! They’re soft, luxurious, and instantly elevate any outfit. Whether you’re rocking a pair of ankle-length suede boots or going for knee-high, this style is a must-have for the cooler months.

I had been eyeing this Tory Burch Ella Patent Nylon Tote for a long time, so I finally pulled the trigger. I love the nylon tote because it isn’t as heavy as my leather handbags. This is the large size, so it has plenty of room for everything I need to keep close at hand, plus I also can carry my laptop in it when I travel. There is a smaller version, and it is a great medium tote.

Next on my favorite things holiday gift guides for Fashion, Beauty, and Home is beauty. I love playing with makeup, and I’ve been playing with it since childhood. I still haven’t perfected the art of makeup, but trying is half of the fun.

This is the best mascara I’ve ever used! It doesn’t flake or smudge, and my lashes look a mile long with it. I know I mentioned it before, so if you’ve tried it, be sure to let me know how it worked for you. 

One of the makeup products I find myself reaching for on a daily basis is Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Blush! The color is beautiful, and it’s so pigmented that a little goes a long way.

Even if you don’t own Chanel jewelry or handbags, you can still look luxurious with these Chanel Lip Ultra Wear lip colors. The long-wear color is on one end, and a glossy topcoat is on the other. I love that the lip color goes on smoothly and dries quickly. The color I wear the most often is the Sensual Rose.

Drunk Elephant – This brand is one of my favorites! I use them all the time. I love the Virgin Marula Luxury Facial Oil, and I mix it with my moisturizers morning and night. Both of my granddaughters have started using Drunk Elephant (I bought them this starter set); you are never too young or too old to start a good skincare routine.

Laniege – You should try their lip sleeping mask! That was the first product that I tried by Laneige, and I recently got the Hyaluronic cream moisturizer, but I’ve not used it yet. The Laneige lip sleep mask is creamy and smooth, while I feel like the ILIA Lip Wrap Treatment Mask has some exfoliation in it.

La Roche Posay – I’ve blogged before about how much I love La Rache-Posey products. I even have some of them on autoship! I love this La Roche-Posay Lipikar Triple Repair Moisturizing Body Cream, and I am sure to never run out. I’ve even been adding the Drunk Elephant Marula Oil to it before I rub it on my legs and arms.

Kenra – Heat styling tools like straighteners and curling irons can take a toll on your hair over time. Using a high-quality heat protectant, such as my absolute favorite from Kenra, forms a protective barrier that shields your hair from the damaging effects of heat styling. I use this every time I wash my hair.

I started using the COLOR WOW Color Control Purple Toning + Styling Foam about six months ago, and I love it. I still use my purple shampoo, but this gives my hair an extra WOW factor that I love.

Colorwow – I received Colorwow’s best-selling Dream Coat Supernatural Spray during Prime Day in July and have really been liking it! It does a great job of taming my hair, especially during the hot, humid summer months.

Dyson – I NEVER thought I would say that this hair dryer was worth the money, but it was worth every penny. I used to say that unless the hair dryer came to my house and dried my hair for me, I would never spend that kind of money on a hair dryer. Never say never! This makes my hair more shiny and doesn’t create as much frizz as the cheaper dryers I had been using.

I also have the Dyson Corrale straightener. The cordless feature is fantastic!

Okay, you might have guessed that home is last on my list of my favorite things holiday gift guides for Fashion, Beauty, and Home. I would love to make my home comfortable and beautiful, but I don’t have the “eye” for decorating. So, I’ll have to settle for comfortable.

My new guilty pleasure! I love this towel warmer 🥰 is it a necessity? No, but it sure is wonderful to have a warm towel after a shower. It would be great for the kiddos or when you get out of the pool. Towel on the top (Joe’s) and my towel on the bottom.

This is something Joe and I can’t live without! Lol! I bought an extra one and took it to my moms so that I’ll have on when I go there each month. I also have another stocked away for if one of us is traveling.

An apple a day keeps the doctor away. I’m not sure that’s true, but I love eating apples and peanut butter. I love the huge honeycrisp apples, but the other apple cutters I had wouldn’t accommodate those since they are so big. This baby works great, and it slices them into small slices.

Joe and I argued over what can opener to get when our handheld one gave up the ghost. I ordered this one, and he fussed…until he tried it. He had to admit that I was right!!! There are no sharp edges with this one, and it is easy to use.

I also ordered these USB-C fast-charging blocks. This is what I use to charge my phone because they are so fast. Joe used it once, and I had to order him one too. I bought the 4 pack so that we could have them in multiple rooms.

This is Joe’s favorite purchase! We have these going down the hall outside our bedroom, in the living room, in my bedroom, and in the bathroom. After Joe stumped his toe (and tore off the nail) on our bed, I put one of these under the dresser. Now, as he walks into the bedroom (in the dark), the light comes on, and he can see the bed.

This is a recent purchase, but it has quickly become a huge favorite. It is a cooling comforter and sheet set, and it really works. The comforter is not thick or heavy and is cool to the touch. I put the sheet (just a fitted sheet) on the bed, and then the comforter. They do warm up from your body heat, but when I stretched out my foot during the night, I was shocked at how cold it was. They are on sale, and much cheaper than when I bought them.

I would never, ever, ever have thought that a laundry hamper would be on my “favorites” list. Laundry is a chore, and I’m not a fan of it. However, this hamper has made my life soooo much easier! I need to put a label above each bin, though, because Joe can’t seem to remember which one is colors, darks, etc.

I bought this personal safety alarm for myself. My neighborhood seems safe, but you never know who is driving through. However, when my daughter came to visit, she tried it out, and I gave it to her. I worry more about her than myself since she is out more often. I’m ordering me another one, but I’m glad she carries this with her everywhere.

I ordered this can and bottle opener after I struggled for a long time to open a jar. One of you sweet ladies suggested I try this, and I love it. My parents also bought it, and Mom said they use it all the time.

I keep this right beside my computer to remind myself of what I need to do. My shopping list, blog posts, and things I need to order are all listed. It has been a huge time saver for me. I honestly don’t do a new sheet daily; I keep adding things until the sheet is completely used up before I flip it to a new sheet.
