MONOCHROMATIC IN NAVY

What a week I have had! It wasn’t a crappy, I am complaining week, it was an I am worn to a frazzle kind of week. Okay, maybe I am complaining a little bit. Lol! Today my Energizer Bunny Friend called me and said that the FedEx truck was going to drop off a package for her at my work. Her office is closed on Friday so she told them that they could leave the package with me. Around 3:00 pm she and her daughter came to pick up the package. She walked through the door and stopped cold, just looking at me with her mouth open. She said, “are you alright?” Then she made this motion under her eyes. She said you have black all under your eyes.Apparently, I had been rubbing my eyes and I had mascara all under my eyes. Lol! I had been dealing with payroll issues, is that saying enough? Ugggh!!! Nothing from payroll transferred so I had to go in and enter every employee, all the payroll information, and all the tax codes. That took FOREVER! Then, I had to go in and manually clock everyone in since the beginning of the week. All at the same time of juggling all the other problems that comes with a new software and hardware update. Example: the cash drawer won’t open, it is not printing a receipt for a payment, the old C.O.D.’s won’t let you access them, yesterday’s drawer didn’t close out correctly, blah, blah, blah……….. I am clicking my heels together three times and repeating, “tomorrow will be better, tomorrow will be better, tomorrow will be better.” Even though it is Saturday and I don’t work on Saturday’s, guess where I am going to be?????I am wearing a monochromatic outfit today. Everything is in shades of blue with just a pop of white here and there. The navy linen top is a couple years old. I think I might have gotten this at TJ Maxx but I wouldn’t swear to it. It is by Ellen Tracey. The problem with most linen is that you have to iron and I had to iron this before I could wear it this morning. Haha!

Navy and gold are made for each other. Here in Grundy our colors for the high school is blue and gold so that might influence me. Lol! I think gold jewelry pops against the navy background. Today I am wearing a new pair of leather earrings from Plunder. These are called Dakota. They are very lightweight and they have a metallic sheen to them. They might be a tiny bit large for some of you since they are a 4″ drop. Come on gurls, live on the wild side. Lol!  I have on two bracelets on both of my wrists. On the left, I am wearing the Dixie which is little gold arrows on an elastic band, and the Celine which is the gold chain with a monogrammed charm. The Stephanie is three strands of pearl and gold and it has a magnetic closure. The dainty little bangle is called the Raleigh and it has the inscription, “Dream without Fear.” I love bangles with inscriptions, I like little inspirations that I can look at throughout the day. The party I currently have open is the sets. I just bought these palazzo pants the other day. I stopped in at Cato Fashions in town and bought several things. I love palazzo pants because they are so comfortable. They feel like you are wearing pajamas but they look sooooo much nicer. Haha! This pair has an all over design of geometric prints which are trending this year. Even though you don’t get a great look at my shoes I will tell you that they matched perfectly. Haha! They are navy denim with leather trim and they have an espadrille sole.

I decided to wear a scarf today instead of a necklace. I think a scarf is a wonderful accessory all year long. If it is terribly hot where you live then a scarf might not be an option that you want to go with. In that case, you would just pick out a gold necklace like maybe this one. Scarves are super versatile and fairly cheap.

My Energizer Bunny Friend and I will try to introduce Rodan and Fields to you. I joined originally for the products and I tend to think everyone else is only interested in the products. That is really a disservice to you and I apologize. I love the business side of Rodan and Fields and I have no real good excuse for not making it available to all of you. We simply tell you about us, why we love R+F, and then we see if the business would be a good fit for you. It is not for everyone but until you listen how would you know? I only want what is best for you and your family. Some people are facing empty nest syndrome, some are retiring and finding that they are bored to death, some would like a little extra income, some desperately need extra income, some want to help their children, some have lost their spouse and don’t know what they are going to do. Everyone has a different story, everyone has a different reason for working the business that is personal to them. Anyway, I would love for you to join me on Sunday night. It would be wonderful to just to talk to you.
