METROSTYLE FOR THE HOLIDAYS

The Christmas holiday is fast approaching and with it comes all the fun of decorating the tree, baking cookies, and singing Christmas carols. Did I forget to mention that Christmas also brings about some stress? We decorate and decorate and then decorate some more, we worry about finding the “Perfect” gift, and then there are the parties that we are invited to attend. What should I wear, will I be overdressed or under-dressed? Let me help you, at least with the dressing part.Let me introduce you to Metrostyle. I don’t watch the show but I have seen lots of pictures of the Pope character and I have longed for a similar style coat that she wears in the show. As soon as I saw this beautiful Long  A-Line Wool Coat, I knew I had found what I was looking for. The A-Line shape is so flattering. You put this coat on and you will feel like a movie star yourself. I have other coats but I did not have a “dress” coat. I think we all need a coat that you can put on when we wear a dress or are going to a nice dinner or party. I have gone to many functions in a beautiful outfit only to have the whole “look” ruined by a coat that is for just keeping me warm. This coat will not only keep you warm, but it will keep you stylish too.The coat comes in two colors. The practical choice is the camel color but I wanted to go for the impractical choice. I went with the winter white color which makes a statement all by itself. There are just times when you want to go for style and this was one of those times.The coat is a wool/nylon blend with polyester lining. You will need to dry clean this coat.
I am 5’6″ tall and I am wearing a regular misses. However, they do offer Tall, Petites, and Plus sizes.The coat comes with the pockets and the back vent tacked flat, so you will need to cut those open. I sized up on the coat just so that I could wear sweaters under the coat easily in the upcoming winter months.
